Oldman will voice a character named Peacock.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson is directing the film, scheduled for a June 3, 2011 release.

The first film was made for about $130 million and grossed an impressive $631.7 million worldwide.

For a second I was expecting to read about how Oldman was going to replace Black, and I about died.

I liked the first movie, muchly, but I don't understand what the sequel here will be about. He is already the Kung-Fu master, defeating the major bad guy... so what else is he meant to do?

He finds out his real father and fights him.

First film was ace, I have high hopes for the sequal. ^__^

That trailer was a bit weird...

I'd still go see it. The first movie was entertaining and not horrible.

That's a good teaser like certain others including that Scooby Doo one where he looked like Batman in the dark. I even read somewhere that Jean Claude Van Damme is in this.

I watched the first one the other day and one thing that still bugs me about the film is the lack of variety of animals. We have the Po (Giant Panda), Furious Five (Monkey, Crane, Viper, Tiger, Mantis), Master Shifu (Red Panda), Master Oogway (Giant Tortoise), Tai Lung (Snow Leopard).. the rest of the valley only shows characters who are either a Goose, Pig or a Rabbit. Then all the guards are just Rhinos. Where's the variety? Hopefully in this sequel there are far more different species showcased. I also hope the entire army they fight isn't the same species as well. Which kind of looks that way judging from the Super Bowl spot.
