	Log in to remove this advertisement Has anyone seen this movie? I LOVED it when I was younger, because I always thought it would be cool if that happened to me. I bought it for $9 at Wal-Mart about 4 months ago, and I still think its pretty cool, but not as good as when I was younger... ------------------- People who get up early in the morning cause war, death and famine.

	Man..I still love this show even more now than ever!! Patrick Swyaze, The Chick from Dirty Dancing, Charlie Sheen, etc. this has quite a good cast and the Opening seqeunce still rocks to this day and still kinda freaks me out! And I too bought the DVD for $9 bucks at Wal-Mart;) -------------------

	Hell yeah dude, this movie totally rocks. If you ignore some of the cheesy-80's-ness in it, it's even better. Definetly a classic.

	You have to remember that it came out in '84. Action movies didn't start having happy endings until like 1987 or so...

One of my all-time faves; I will NEVER get tired of seeing a bunch of high school kids beat up on Communists in rural America. What an ideal representation of the American dream... And Swayze's vengeful glare at the general at the end (with brother in arms) is perhaps the ONLY intimdating look Swayze's ever pulled off.
