He is a strange one though, director. He just emerged with a sophistocated short film, won awards. Nothing too special against other aspiring directors. Then he comes out with a film which marks as a milestone in narrative, thanks to his brother Jon's short
Mori' (Strange the way a tale such as Memento hadn't been done like that before,
mafia ties).
Going on to direct an adaptation which he makes his own, directing a fine cast(Something he's blessed with in most his films). Then he goes and makes
Batman Begins, speaks for itself. The rest is recent buzz history. I really think this is a modern great in the making, granted he maintains his stylistic unity...
I also hate the way their marketing the film -
Its the Matrix meets dark city...Who writes these?
