	Grayskull isn't half as bad as the names of some of the characters. He-man (yea even the title character's name is pretty bad) Man-at-Arms Ram-Man Man-e-faces Beast man Tri-Klops Trap-jaw Orko Mer-man Mekaneck Fisto (I especially love this one a guy with a big metal right hand) Moss man Clamp Champ Evil-lyn Clawful Two-bad Stinkor (literally a skunk man) Ninjor (An evil ninja guy) Tung Lashor Sssqueeze In light of some of those names Grayskull is almost inspired. ------------------- Education Forum\|Books & Literature My Brute

	still, those names are better than the majority of the GI Joe names. 90% of their names seem to be adjectives. Snake Eyes is the only one with a good name. well, Ice Cream Soldier is awesome too.

	Yea, but all of the Joe's names are code names. For instance Duke is Conrad S. Hauser, Scarlett is Shana M. O'Hara, Roadblock is Marvin F. Hinton, and Hawk is Clayton M. Abernathy. Even the Cobra's had real names if they were important enough. The Baroness is Baroness Anistasia Decobray, Destro is James McCullen, and Storm Shadow is Thomas Arashikage The characters in He-man, not so much. Only Man-At-Arms has a real name and even then it is only Duncan. No last name unless his full name is Duncan Man-At-Arms. 	When I was much younger, I used to watch the live action movie religiously As well as the original animated series, and the new animated series (the one where He-Mans got short hair and Skeletors in a space station with another antagonist character...can't remember his name though, he was this purple guy in a Man-At-Arms type suit) Anyway, I hope they don't mess this up. -------------------

Exits Masters of the Universe. quote September 9, 2009 - Variety reports that Warner Bros. and Mattel are parting ways on Masters of the Universe, the new live-action adaptation of the Mattel toy line that the studio and producer Joel Silver have been developing since 2007. The trade says that Mattel and WB didn't see eye to eye over the direction of the project and made a mutual decision to let the option lapse this month. Mattel will take back the property and set it up elsewhere. The expectation is that director John Stevenson (Kung Fu Panda) will remain with the project, but not Silver, who is exclusive to WB. I'll cry a little inside if I see the studio to pick this up being 20th Century Fox. -------------------

	They Have The Power... To Pen The Movie Predators Screenwriters Hired for Masters of the Universe. quote April 11, 2010 - Columbia Pictures has hired Predators scribes Mike Finch and Alex Litvak to pen the new big screen adaptation of Masters of the Universe. HeatVision reports that the scribes “attempted to balance a treatment that would convince the studio it was cinematic and keep the toy company satisfied that its characters were being portrayed appropriately” in their pitch. In September, Warner Bros completely dropped the development of the project despite Justin Marks’ screenplay gaining big traction from internet buzz and Kung-Fu Panda director John Stevenson signing on to direct. Columbia Pictures / Escape Artists picked up rights to the Mattel property, and it was announced that Stevenson and Marks were both no longer involved with the project. Finch and Litvak will now develop the project from the ground up, abandoning all previous drafts/concepts. I would have liked for Sony to keep Justin Marks' script, since it sounded so promising. Hope these two keep the script to being a LOTR sized epic tale as well. This has so much potential to be a huge franchise for Sony, but I honestly see them dropping the ball on the project. -------------------

	Am I the only one here who didn't actually mind the 1987 film? Frank Langella was quality as Skeletor! I got the dvd but it's a dutch version, everything but the film itself is in dutch. ------------------- "Come On!"
