"Luckily" my ass, since season 1 was Heroes at its finest. Doubt Heroes will ever become what it once was.
Any 'Lost' fans here?

I wouldn't say Lost never answers questions, but it has the tendency to keep quiet on things for a while. It was only really a problem with season 3, but it didn't both me since I had the entire series DVD so I didn't have to wait a week between each episode unlike the people who were complaining did. But there's no doubting the fact that the show gives us questions more than it answers, but it's not a problem. It's what keeps the show so interesting. If all of the questions were answered, then the show wouldn't be as intriguing, wouldn't it?
But man, you guys seriously need to jump on the Lost bandwagon. Watched Seasons 1-3 and what there was o 4 in 4 days during my spring break. It was one of the best 4 days ever. Just listening to the song 'Make Your Own Kind of Music', which was played during the premiere of Season 2, just gives me this...really good feeling. A feeling that not only makes me go 'Aw shit Lost is *bleep*ing awesome', but also saddens me a bit because the feeling I got from Lost isn't something I'll experience much from a show. It's a total masterpiece. *bleep* all the assholes who say the show isn't what it once was. Lost is the only show I know that got better with each season. Man I can't wait for season 5.
I think Lavitz would agree with me on that.

DMD, the writers aren't making the characters go back to the island so the show won't end...its end date has already been announced a year ago(May 2010 I believe). It's something that's happening because it's just...part of Lost. It's part of the writers storyline they have going on here. Nothing's going on for financial reasons. Give it a watch man. It's great shit. If you're able to enjoy a show like Heroes, no reason you can't enjoy Lost.
Anyone here ever watched the best show of last year and just arguably one of the best shows ever made, Journeyman? I remember trying to convince PL to watch it in a third - Not sure if he ever got around to it.
Dead Space has been doing really well so far(8.7 IGN, 9.0 Gamespot, B+ 1UP), but I'm still going to have go with Saints Row 2 for the game I'm going to have to buy. GTAIV had an amazing story but it's gameplay didn't live up to the quality of it's script. Repetitive and lack of variety. I'm hoping Saints Row 2 will fill in the void that GTAIV was suppose to fill.

Season 1 was my least favorite season. Pretty much goes like this for me:
Seaosn 4 > Season 3 > Season 2 > Season 1
Too much ambiguity. Too many things left to the mind. Nothing got answered. Wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted more of these Others...I wanted to learn more about where they came from, wanted to learn more about the smoke-monster, wanted to learn more about everything. And as the seasons went on, we learned more and more and things just got a whole more intense because of that. Just a better show now really.
Prison Break is totally awesome, by the way.

Ah, that's a legit reason not to enjoy the show as much as you use to. It's true that individual characters aren't the focus as they were back in Season 1...but, you know, it's all right with me. Because Season 1 for me worked as a season to establish these character into the show. Let us know who they were, where they came from, and learn about their...demons. I look at it as an entire set-up for the seasons to come. Throwing them into these situations onto the island, making them learn about Others and the island itself, and watching these characters we know so well interact with it all. Watching how their background information and their personalities would come into play. And then you have all this mystery and action(especially in Season 4) which I think is just done so perfectly.
But yeah, all depends on how you view the show and what (British term time!) tickles your fancy.

Speed Racer is one of the few films where I think the cheesy-ness worked for it. It's based on a cartoon, after all.

Did that come out? I've been waiting for that for a while but I didn't hear much about it since it was announced.

Silly Deadman. Fable II's world and gameplay will pale in comparison to Fallout's. Have you ever played the first Fable? I know you find Fallout 3's world to be dreary, but if you've played Oblivion and Fable, I don't see how'd you'd want to get Fable II over Fallout 3, no matter how the world is. If you've never played Fable 1 before...then get ready for an RPG you can beat in a week and not have too much to do afterwards in Fable II. And glad to hear Malik and I got to you, BLinK0.

Getting Gears 2 less than a week after it comes out instead of 2 months later with the first Gears. Yay! I've been staying away from every bit of coverage from the game so I could be surprised as much as possible(same with Fallout 3 and every other game this holiday season). Only thing I've watched was that very first gameplay footage of the single-player that showed with Marcus on that ship with the Locusts.

Naw, fourth one was better than Temple of Doom, I think(first hour of ToD was a borefest, and hearing that one chick bitch all the time made me want to blow my brains out). I loved Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It was a total blast.

Hey TLA, I just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a couple days ago for the 2nd time. Amazing film, isn't it? Carrey and Winslet(most especially Winslet) are phenomenal here. And the film itself is fantastic.
And speaking of Kate Winslet, she just won two *bleep*ing Golden Globes after never winning one in her life: She won Lead AND Supporting Actress in a Drama! Holy shit!
