No it isn't. Those early scenes with you know who last all of from the first film. Other than that, you dont need to see BB to enjoy TDK. That was basically his question anyways.

Batman's voice at times can seem a bit odd and forced, but for the most part, its awesome. As TLA points out, that scene in BB is amazing.

He'll be confused as to who Rachel Dawes is, and why she's so important to Batman. He wont care as much about Fox, and more importantly, he'll BE CONFUSED as to who the hell Scarecrow is. Darknet, you're two for two. LOL. I would have turned to them and demanded they keep the kid quiet or you would spoil the whole *bleep*ing movie for them... and you'd do it prior to each important scene. Like the Gordon scene. The interrogation room scene. The end scene, etc.

They make it pretty obvious in TDK that Rachel is an old-flame of Bruce's, and as I said, Scarecrow isn't in the movie long enough for it to matter.

You're not right. You can not see BB and still enjoy TDK. The two main villians are new and the main plot point is new.

He's not asking if the movie can "STILL BE SPECIAL" or if he can "STILL FULLY ENJOY" the movie, numbnuts.

Shocking as this may seem...

Spoiler: Harvey Dent/Two Face

I don't really know what to think, but that might be a good thing. The coin landing on heads is a good "teaser", so to speak, and I sort of like the theory made a handful of pages back where someone said it might be that Harvey Dent is DEAD, but Two Face is still alive. Who knows.

Either way, I have no doubt that Nolan will put together some great opposition for Batman in a third movie. I'm rooting for Two Face to be alive, with Riddler thrown in for good measure.

Can someone help me compile a list of all the record breaking moments for this film.

I've got the Midnight sales, opening day and I'm awaiting Weekend grosses... but I can't seem to find anywhere (and I read it somewhere) that talked about the record breaking pre-sale tickets for TDK. I think it beat out Spider-Man 3 as the most pre-sale tickets sold for a film. I'd like to know those numbers, as well if you have anything else to add, because I'm going to put it in the first post of the new thread once this reaches 35.
