Uh... if you see that photo of his stunt-double, you will clearly see that after he seeks out Master Roshi and begins his training that he wears his training uniform. It would be dumb as *bleep* to have someone that isn't to just walk around wearing that shit. I mean if you follow any of the photos that have been posted and leaked, Goku goes to school and is living a some-what normal life. Then after grandpa dies(or whatever may be the case) he is told to seek out Master Roshi, and then probably starts to wonder why it is a bit harder for him to track down Master Roshi, then encounters some people that he somehow is able to fight and fend off with an unknown power he possesses then Roshi pops out, tells him everything, and so he begins his training under Master Roshi, yada yada.

And you guys actually caught me in a good mood to disprove all the "what if"s you guys are bringing in here since you guys refuse to date back through the thread. So about the Yamcha part....

So HUSH.

I would bet money on it that you guys are just going on and on about a stunt-double/action-double because if you look at the cast lineup, then you will see. And if he was a particular character, then it is probably just someone that falls by the hands of Piccolo while trying to prevent the demon from obtaining the Dragonball.

He however, wasn't aware of his heritage, he lost memory of his homeworld. This Namek eventually split up in a good half and an evil half, the good half was Kami, who became the Earth's guardian, and the evil half, we know better as Piccolo Daimao.

Piccolo Daimao fought with Goku in Dragonball, and was defeated. But before he died, he threw up an egg out of which the Piccolo we know hatched. He initially was Goku's arch enemy, but at the start of DBZ when Raditz arrived, he joined forces with Goku to defeat Raditz. A year later, Vegeta and Nappa arrived, and they identified Piccolo as a Namek. That's how Piccolo found out about his heritage. As did Kami, as he was linked to Piccolo. So up until that point in the story, everyone considered Piccolo and Kami as demons. And so did they, as they didn't know any better than that.
