	Psh. Well. Depends on how the studio plays it. I'm sure the franchise also has intended a trilogy as well, and since they've been done filming it and have planned to wait another entire year to release the film. Don't you think within that time they can get enough PR and an acknowledged fan-base? Anyways, I think another reason why they are waiting til' next year to release the film is if you look at it like this, it wouldn't make any money this year. You have Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, The Incredible Hulk, Hancock... I mean those are pretty definite picks for this summers box office numbers. They don't want to compete with that. They wanna wait and plan. Put out toys. Sign a contract with a fast-food corporation to do happy meal toys. So that even though enough people go see it and aren't really into it, they still have came up with enough money to do a second film. Then they start working on that film while re-releasing a super-stacked DVD of the first movie(this one) featuring crap no one cares about but the box is shiny. And by the time it comes out, more people will go see it because of anticipation and they talk their friends up about it, etc. Then after that's said and done, money for a 3rd. I mean, Justin Chatwin is 25 years old. Put his ass in a gym, and I'm sure the young age appearance and smallness of the muscles will go away(not to mention by the time a sequel even rolls around he'll be at least 27 or 28). Anyways, this is going to be a hit regardless in the Eastern Hemisphere. It's the other countries it needs to win over. [/tangent]

Anyway. This movie is like, very simalear to DBZ's action. People are shooting energy beams, flying, charging up power, special moves. 	Requesting a ban for the above post. This film will get a sequel whether or not it is good. Ton's of people are going to see this and pour their money into the dvd, the video game that will most likely come out, and whatever else they market. Even if the movie sucks, they have the money to throw around and make another one. 	Okay, so I guess I'm going to be the one to put it out there. But in Dragonball, Goku had a tail. I mean... how would/did they work that in? Especially in the direction this looks like it may go in, I just don't see them giving Goku a tail in the film, so then what, a backstory? Oh, and Namek CGI render-mockup spoiler. 	His facial features go with Goku's nicely, its just the hair that doesn't match. But bleep, lets be real, who the hell could pull off hair like that? lol even then, his hair looks pretty good too. If anything, Bulma doesn't really look like Bulma, but with a movie like this, especially one based off of an anime, you shouldn't try to judge appearances so much. 	Yeah, if Bulma had blue hair in the film she'd just look like a freak. :/ Looks like they're toning everything down to make the character seem more, well, human. Guess that's good. If they tried to do everything like it was in the anime(I dunno, like giving Goku huge, black, spikey hair or giving him some weird CG muscles), it would look extremely laughable. So smart move on their part.

	I tried my best to clean it up. Source was a little rough. As you can see, they put a masked illustration over the glowing orb to allow the viewer to know that it is indeed a Dragonball. -------------------
