	Log in to remove this sponsored message Now I have a question. It has been said that Portal has been based on Greek Mythology. Here is something I read on another forum.... "Did anyone else know that the whole game is based in greek myth? ( including atlas and p-body) and glados giving chell the knowledge of the portal guns and being cast into a pit, chell reviving glados ( pandoras box) and wheatly turning on her ( forget the name of the character but also a part of pandoras box) but the best part.... that wheat field in the end, is a common portrail of heaven in greek myth. Meaning that the turrets actually probably shot chell" So my question would have to be, do you think this is true? Do you think Chell really died?

	no. i think GladOS, wanted chell to leave before she killed her... the part with the turrets freaked me out a little... (a bit cool, mind you.) i was thinking when she got to the turrets she would be killed...but they broke out into song... ------------------- Fragments of Darkness, Shards of Light. 	Interesting connections made there, but I think GLaDOS really just let her go. Didn't need Chell anymore and she was more trouble to kill than she's worth. 	Actually did you end up saving the turret from being destroyed on the conveyorbelt while deactivating Glados with Wheatley? 	The turret also mentions Caroline, lemonade, and birds, among other things, but at that point in the game you wouldn't have heard of any of those I believe. Basically what the turret says is more interesting in subsequent playthroughs. And I did save the turret, but then I dropped it into the abyss, so I don't really deserve the achievement. xD Speaking of achievements, finding that portrait gives you an achievement Shadow of Death, so go find it if you haven't. ------------------- ~The fatal flaw in every plan is the assumption that you know more than your enemy~

	Well, not to be rude, your theory is a little off, Chell never died, she was just injured. But, when Chell got plunged into space, she was severely injured. But you soon see GlaDOS waking her up, deleting Caroline, and kicking Chell out. 	It's unlikely Chell died. Valve said she'd make further appearances in the half-life universe.
