If you've been looking forward to some Scott Pilgrim vs. the World online action, then you might've also noticed the DLC that was supposed to add online play never came. Originally meant for release on XBLA yesterday, the add-on is now MIA.
While Ubisoft didn't give any concrete reasons for the delay, the publisher did say the DLC is still coming. A Ubisoft representative notes that the XLBA and PSN versions are now due next season:
"The DLC for Scott Pilgrim will be releasing this fall. The PSN version will release during that same timeframe. We'll have more information as we get closer to launch."
So there you go. Better make sure to keep $5 or 400 MSP handy until then. Wouldn't want to be caught with your pants down -- or wallet empty, as it were.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World has actually been out for a good two years now, and news of multiplayer support finally came earlier this month when the DLC appeared in a blog update from Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson.
