Pheonyx, here's just one source for now. Eye strain is the major one I'm looking at, and it doesn't pertain to 3D to be honest staring at an LCD screen is not good for you eyes.

For the 3DS, you really have to focus on the LCD at a certain angle to get this neat 3D effect no? Well, what do you think you're doing to your eyes over a four hour period? It's just not good for you no matter how you cut it.

Look, you're more than welcome to not care, but you should just be aware, that's all I'm saying. I honestly wish I had known when I was younger that playing video games or using the computer for extended periods of times could really really *bleep* up your vision.

And yes, we are all most likely going to be blind when we get older, but the point is to prolong that situation as much as possible, because I'm sure being blind is not a good thing. XP

I would drink a lot of good juices like apple juice and cranberry juice, which are mostly see-through. I would eat hot food like chicken noodle soups, broccoli cheese soup, toasted whole-grain sandwiches and maybe even some hot chocolate. When you eat stuff that gets rid of your chills and enriches your body at the same time, you're knocking out two birds with one stone.

Also, unless you're totally bedridden and specifically told NOT to move around, I would do some very light physical activity. Like walk around the house, up and down the stairs a few times, etc. But don't push yourself.

Drink tons of water. It goes without saying that drinking ample amounts of water is good for you whether you're sick or well.

Finally, be positive. Being happy isn't a cure all, but choosing to just look at being sick as a minor inconvenience and looking forward to getting better as soon as possible does wonders. Involve yourself with uplifting music, video games/tv shows/movies and nice people.

ProudLoz I'm aware. I just believe my eyes aren't delicate little flowers and can take a workout every now and then. And it's not like every time I play 3DS I go for 4+ hours, I just forget to recharge it until the little red light flashes at me.

...I must try this garlic bread potato chips.

Thrawn: I have that stuff at home as well. But I haven't really used them as much as I would like. I also have my own weight bench that I haven't set up yet since moving into this place. No room for it unfortunately.

Yeah man. I haven't used it in a couple of years since I lack the room. But I may be moving later this year so I'm hoping to have some room by then.

Thrawn: Definitely. I potentially could make the room now if I wanted to. Just get rid of the futon but I have people over often and they need a place to sleep.
