I don't think there's any change in where the animals live. They have slways been able to live where they want. In my CF town it was usually right in the middle of my track .

I like underwater towns, or even putting down a few pitfalls to go in the river and waterfalls

Well, in City Folk sometimes my paths go right by signs because there are so MANY signs and it is hard to stay away from all of them! So then, an animal will move in and his house will be pretty much in the middle of where my path was. Then I have to make my path go around the house.

Also, I plant extremely dense foreign fruit forests right around Tom Nook's store, for purposes of fast money making. Just the day before yesterday, Anabelle moved into a house right in the middle of the densest forest you can imagine! I don't know how many trees that destroyed. But I can't really hold it against her, because she is so much fun to have in my town...

I will just plant my first few Delicious fruits on different sides of my home, to cover my bets, so to speak. I hope the trees do not die too fast. Sounds like we will have to plant at least one of each tree's Delicious fruit, every time they appear, to keep the forest stable in size.

Whenever I played Wild World or City Folk, neighbors wouldn't move anywhere besides where there were signposts .-.
