Unboxing of Game, Limited Edition 3DS LL

For those of you who love to torture yourself by gawking at what you can't have, this is for you! An English-speaker living in Japan was lucky enough to get her hands on a copy of the game and the extremely rare AC-themed 3DS LL produced exclusively for the game's launch. Apparently Nintendo restricted supply of both. We get a good look here at the pretty packaging and at a 3DS that's already selling for over $600 on Ebay.

One thing I caught though, did anyone see the game packaged within the bundle? The one she unboxed at the beginning was bought separately, as explained early in the video. I didn't see one inside the big box though, which doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it comes with a download or something? Does anyone know?

That 3DS XL is freaking huge. o.o It looks really nice though. :3

Aw man, that sucks. They did the same thing with the Assassin's Creed bundle for the Vita and a lot of people were disappointed. I would much rather have a physical copy. I don't know what I'm going to do when everything switches over to download.

Why would you want the physical copy instead of it being a download? I think virtual copies save the panic of losing that little thing.

Trace is spot-on for the US; a regular 3DS sells for $169 and an XL for $199. If you're talking about imports (which you're probably not but meh) then the price of both will vary depending on the color. Taking the cheapest two models (white normal and LL), the difference between them is $70.

For many reasons:

• I can lend my games to friends (my friend Holly has Zelda right now).
• God forbid something happens to my 3DS, at least I'll still have my games.
• Takes up much less storage between game data and saves.
• I like to display my dork things. :3

Don't forget, Fluidity, when that comes over here, you're buying me the AC3DS XL.
