The first starting details for Animal Crossing: New Leaf are coming in from players in Japan who got hold of the game a day early. Personally, I don’t consider these to be spoilers but if you are very sensitive you may want to refrain from viewing. To see the information, click Continue Reading.

• You will be able to check out the village map before you arrive (They will show you about 3 other maps that you can choose from if you don’t like the first)
• Besides your village’s local fruit, you can get 3 different fruits from Shizue
• Will start with 5 villagers
• Can save up to 10 designs
• Symbol tree will always be set in the village plaza (white area on the map)
• You can buy 1 fortune cookie a day
• The down payment to get your house built is 10,000 bells

Some people already have the game?! SO jealous. This is interesting though. You get to pick your town layout which beats restarting the game to get one you like (I wish you could choose the fruit too hehe). Also, the first housing payment isn't bad. :3

The ability to choose between three town maps is by far the best news for the game I have yet to hear. Such a time saver and incredibly useful. Yay.

I'm so glad!!! Then I guess the only time I would have to re-start to get a good layout, would be if none of the first three appeal to me.....

I really like finding out that there will be layouts! And they will be different enough to care! Now THAT is so terrific, since finding a great layout in the terrain is one of the truly fun aspects of ACCF.

Wait, just three layouts? Or can you extend the reset method and do 3 at a time o: If there are only 3, then that would completely suck.
