re: What I want to see in AC:3DS!

These are a few ideas from people on YouTube and most of it is my ideas combined. i emailed these to Nintendo 2 years ago. I just wanted to know what people think. Let me know what you guys think of this, and if you have anything to add, feel free to let me know. This message could get long, so read it piece by piece, or you will get bored. Unless, of course, you like my ideas so much that you think I should work with Nintendo and consider me a celebrity.
Then, in that case, if you're hooked on, help yourself. Be my guest. But don't say I didn't warn you about the length. Whatever you do, PLEASE bring back the city from Animal Crossing: City Folk along with the very fancy GracieGrace furniture store, the shoe shiner, Phineas the prize man, the auction house, the Happy Room Academy HQ, the shoe shiner, Katrina's Fortune Shop, the Marquee theater, and Crazy Redd's shop all in the city, along with Resetti's headquarters. Shampoodle's is now working with Tom Nook once again, except this time from the very beginning. Also, maybe there could be a lottery building called ANIMAL LOTTERY or something in the place where Shampoodle's used to be. This is a place where you can buy up to 10 lottery tickets per day for 100 bells each. 3rd place winner gets 30,000 Bells, 2nd place gets 60,000, and Jackpot gets 90,000. Also in this game you can now use credit cards, with membership levels increasing the more you use them. At the end of every month, you receive a bill notification in the mail. You can pay this by ABD as well. Finally, debit cards and gold debit cards are also back. There is more fruit on trees, including bananas, grapes, (green or purple), Granny Smith Apples, and yellow apples. 2. Please make GracieGrace have all the previous GracieGrace furniture. Maybe a few more clothes, hats, and accessories, though. Also, Labelle now has come back in a heartwarming reunion to her younger sisters, Sable and Mabel. There is now a separate area in the Able Sisters' tailor shop now. This is a type of Wi-Fi hub where you can exchange designs with friends, and even use Tag Mode or the 3DS's feature, StreetPass. Since Labelle will be working with her sisters, Sable and Mable, though, GracieGrace will be run by Gracie herself. Thus, you can now get a fashion evaluation from her whenever you desire, instead of having to wait for her to visit. Now, animals actually walk around in shops with shopping bags in their arms to look more realistic. 3. When you type things like your name and town name, you can fit in as many letters/ spaces/ punctuation/ symbols as you want. 4. In winter, when some of the rivers, lakes, etc. freeze, you can buy ice skates from Tom Nook, swap them with your old shoes, and go ice skating! Learn to do tricks and show off your skills at the skating arena (see below)! You can get off whenever you want, and then switch back to your normal shoes. ~Primary Features~ Title (Animal Crossing: New Frontier or Animal Crossing: The New Life would have been nice too.) The game beginning (opening on an AirAnimal Airlines plane, with Rover the cat as your flight attendant, and Kappn' the turtle as the pilot) ~Mayoral Duties~ After the flight, you arrive at an airport at the town gate. You are greeted by your busybee sweetheart hard worker, Pelly, who guides you to your new job office as mayor, and you get to choose one of four spread out houses to live in, with upgrades as you pay off your loan, of course. (Yes, you unfortunately still have a loan even though you are the mayor.) The second human to move into town is oyur secretary. The third is the treasurer, and the fourth is the historian. You four all have separate quarters in the back of the town hall, and, of course, your own houses. Every month you four and the town maintenance staff, including Pelly, Phyllis, Tortimer (who is now your real estate agent), and other new people host a meeting in the meeting room in the back of the town hall. You discuss the current status of your town, how it can be helped, comments from residents and visitors, whether you should invest in town clean-up services, whether you should build a new structure, the arrangements and organization of your town, population, and many other of your office responsibilities. Since only one character can play at a time, either the other three can register themselves from DS Download Play using passwords for recognition, or you can take turns giving the 3DS to one another when it comes your turn to share your thoughts and feelings. You will share news, ideas, and many other things using voice recognition. Wouldn't that be awesome? ~Mayoral Rewards~ In this game, you raise money to make your town a better place to live. To buy town land marks you can either use money you've earned yourself, or you can use points based on what people think about your town's environment. You can get many town landmarks by donating money, and you can get them in this order: A dock to visit a tropical island, (100,000 bells/points) another bridge (200,000 bells/points), then a town fountain (500,000 bells/points), then a lighthouse (1,000,000), then a windmill (1,000,000), then a stage for shows/performances (2,000,000), then a baseball field (2,250,000), then a soccer field (2,500,000), then a hockey (ice hockey in winter) field for matches (2,750,000), then a roller skating (ice skating in winter) field for races/ ice dancing/ figure skating performances (3,000,000) then a bowling alley building (3,250,000), and then a football field (3,500,000). You can form sports teams, join, name you teams, and compete in weekly games at the fields. The winning team gets trophies and a party, along with a cash prize/reward. This game brings back all of the past vehicles: the Wild World Taxi (for visiting the newly introduced park--see ahead), the City Folk Bus (for visiting the city), the Population Growing (GameCube) train (for moving from one 3DS Game Card to another), the Population Growing (GameCube) quiet boat to visit the island, which I hope they bring back, the New Frontier (New Life) plane (for visiting other towns via Wi-Fi connection)! ~Convenience Store I: Upgrades~ Next, we'll be talking about Tom Nook's store. His store upgrades go in this order: Nook's Cranny, Nook'n'go, Nookmart, Nookway, Nookington's, Tom Nook's Emporium, and finally, the absolutely MASSIVE NookMall! All stores will look exactly like how they looked in the Nintendo wii version, on both the inside and outside. (Except for the fact that the store will start out with 3 shirts in Nook's Cranny, as there was in the Gamecube version, as well as the same amount of furniture, wallpaper, carpet, and everything else from the Wii version.) Every upgrade, the store will be 2-3 times as big as the previous one. In this game, any furniture can be placed either indoors or outdoors. Or you can simply drop furniture in "leaf form" either inside or outside as well. *When I refer to "tool", a possibility for that is also the timer. Nook's Cranny has 3 shirts, 3 pants/shorts, 2 wallpapers, 2 different tools, 2 carpets/floorings, 3 pieces of furniture, 1 paint bucket, and 4 paper pads. (4 sheets each) It is open 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. Nook'n'go has 5 shirts, 5 pants/shorts, 4 wallpapers, 3 different tools, 4 carpets/floorings, 5 pieces of furniture, 3 paint buckets, and 6 paper pads. It is open 8 a.m. to 1 A.M. Nookmart has 7 shirts, 7 pants/shorts, 6 wallpapers, 4 different tools, 6 carpets/floorings, 7 pieces of furniture, 5 paint buckets, and 8 paper pads. It is open 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. Nookway has 9 shirts, 9 pants/shorts, 8 wallpapers, 2 of each tool, 8 carpets, floorings, 9 pieces of furniture, 7 paint buckets, and 10 paper pads. It is open 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. Nookington's (with 2 floors) has 11 shirts, 11 pants/shorts, 10 wallpapers, 3 of each tool, 10 carpets/floorings, 11 pieces of furniture, 9 paint buckets, and 12 paper pads. It is open 8 A.M. to 11 P.M. Tom Nook's Emporium (with 3 floors) has a whopping 13 shirts, 13 pants/shorts, 12 wallpapers, 12 carpets/floorings, 13 pieces of furniture, 11 paint buckets, and 14 paper pads. It is open 9 A.M. to 12 A.M. In NookMall, all of the floors TRIPLE in size, as the new MASSIVE mall has a gigantic 20 shirts, 20 pants/shorts, 20 wallpapers, 20 carpets/floorings, 20 pieces of furniture, 20 paint buckets, 5 of each tool, and 20 paper pads! It is open 24 hours. As usual, once every one to four weeks, either one fishing rod, one net, one timer, or one slingshot will be replaced with a silver one. The silver timer can count up to 30 minutes instead of 15, and the gold one can count up to an hour. To get the gold one, you will have to go to the wishing well and meet up with Sedata, Serena's little sister. Once again, if you answer the questions correctly, you can get a silver and/or gold timer. ~Convenience Sote II: Other Features So we finished up on Tom Nook's store upgrades and what they would have in stock per day. Now, we'll talk about some of the new things about his shop. Let's talk about the floors. As usual, the first floor will be run by Tom Nook himself. The 1st floor will have all the paper, half of the daily paint supply (all of it if you haven't reached Nookington's yet), and the tools with the timer also. As before, the second floor, which you get once you reach Nookington's, contains all furniture (indoor), wallpapers, floorings/carpets, and the other half of the daily paint supply. It, as usual, is run by Tom Nook's nephews, Timmy and Tommy Nook. The third floor, which you get once you reach Tom Nook's Emporium, contains all of the outdoor stuff. For example, it contains flower seeds, tree saplings, cedar tree saplings. It also contains outdoor furniture, which is a new addition to Animal Crossing. Outdoor furniture means things like benches, lampposts, bus signs, construction signs, arrow signs, orange cones, the "backyard" furniture theme, the "park" theme, and all that. Here, you can also purchase crop seeds and tree seedlings (completely optional) to plant in your outdoor vegetable garden (see ahead)There is also some furniture that can be put either indoor OR outdoors. The third floor is run by Tania Nook. (Tom Nook's wife.) In this game, you can SEPARATELY paint your roof, your doors individually, your windowsills, your wall, your flooring, your fence, and all theo ther outer and inner areas of your house. Once you reach Nook'n'Go, from then on, there will be an auto repair shop to fix your cars, bikes, and motorcycles. (Yes, you can ride cars, bikes, and motorcycles in this game.) You can also buy brand new cars, bikes, and motorcycle here. The size and price of new vehicles, as well as the quality and price of repairs, increase as the store does. Note: Until you buy a "zap helmet" (the one that makes a different sound when you put it on) from the Able Sisters (blue or green zap helmet if for a boy, pink zap helmet if for a girl), and the "zap suit" that matches the color of your helmet, you cannot buy bicycles or motorcycles/ ride them. By the way, there are two entrances to the auto repair shop. If you want to buy a new vehicle, you'll have to go through the entrance from inside Nook's shop. If you want to repair an old vehicle, then you'll have to bring it in from outside. A garage door will open, allowing you to enter with your vehicle. In NookMall, the auto repair shop more than doubles in size and stays on the first floor. The auto repair shop is run by Tim Nook. (Tom Nook's older brother, also known as Timmy & Tommy's father. In front of the store is a small food stand where you can buy sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, tuna salad sandwiches, PB&J sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, french fries, and more. This place is run by Tammy Nook, Tom Nook's sister-in-law, also known as Timmy and Tommy's mom. Once you reach Nookmart, the food stand moves to the inside of the shop. Once you reach NookMall, the food stand moves to the third floor and becomes its own large food store in a different room. (For example, how Superfresh and Safeway are in real life.) By the way, once you reach NookMall, the 3 floors become separate stores with separate names and triple in size. The food stand, when it "evolves" will also need a name, and so will the auto repair shop. Any ideas, guys? Include these in a reply if you have any ideas. this is a continuation of my previous post. Also, the amount of plants and where they are placed. I'm-a-BACK! Love NSMB Wii...Good times even though that wasn't so long ago XD Here, we talk about some other various areas. Yay, my favorite part of the idea book: Your house! ~EDIT:~ Some of this part I have mentioned earlier; but just for the heck of it: Well, here it is! The next part of my ideas for Animal Crossing 3DS. This time, we'll talk about painting and construction, as well as the town size and landmarks. Now, another of my favorite parts--the newest addition to Animal Crossing.... You can now make not only pictures, but also videos, and save them to your SD Card.

ACLover72, it's against the general forum rules to double-post or post consecutively (for the sake of the threads getting too cluttered). Why don't you register and make an account here on Neo? It's free and you'll have the option to edit/add to your posts among other things. We'd love to have you here on the forums!

Hi, Fluidity, it's me! Sorry it was my first posting on a forum on Neo and I didn't know any of the details. I've made an account now. Thanks for the advice, and I'm really really really really really REALLY sorry!
I'll be more careful next time. And thanks. Yeah, I spent at least a couple of months thinking about these. I started on September 1st, 2010, and I kept gradually thinking about it for a few days. When school started, I lost time, and I rarely got the chance, so yeah. It's been going on since then. See ya! Mod Edit: Nov 23, 12 7:31am by Fluidity

See? This is me with my new account! Thanks, and I'm terribly sorry once again! You see, I first thought of making one big post, but thought it would be tedious and boring. But I didn't know breaking it up would be against the rules. I apologize, seriously, this is probably the 20th time I have said it even.

A couple of things I forgot:
Like Ai's house in the movie, you have a small back porch and a big front porch, where you can keep tables and chairs. Like in past AC games, there are bushes and bushels, but this time beautiful unique flowers and sometimes even unique fruit grow on them! They can also be planted wherever, in rows or columns or orchards or however you feel it best. As a few people mentioned earlier, you can occasionally experience working part-time at Nook's, Able Sisters, or even as a museum tour guide for pay, about 100-200 Bells/hour. Unlike Harvest Moon, you get to choose how long you want to work. quote MewThank you so much. If you don't mind, could you specify what areas you don't agree with and please give suggestions if you have any? Thanks! ![]() This message was merged with other messages by Fluidity (moderator)

I like a large number of your ideas, ACLover72!
![]() But some of the things included in your post, like the part about the ship and the football stadium, seem that they would take away from one of my favorite parts of the Animal Crossing series: being rather isolated when it comes to the rest of the world. It sounds weird, but one of my favorite parts about this series is that compared to most of our lives in the real world, our AC lives are very laid back and stress free. But that's just my opinion. ![]() And now not only am I rooting for the grandiose return of the signposts, but the journal as well. I liked being able to write notes in it and look at my calender. ![]() -------------------

Holy lordy, so much to read, lol.
Some of the ideas caught my attention though.I honestly wouldn't prefer to have cooking in the game, it would turn into The Sims a bit for me. xD Having all the holidays return would be a cool idea though. :3 The ones from the original Animal Crossing sound exciting, so I'd like the opportunity to be able to experience them. And of course, the ones from City Folk are good too. :3 Able Sisters upgrade is a must I say. The customisation of pants is already confirmed, but being able to trade designs via Wi-Fi isn't a bad idea. I'm rather confused though as you say the store will still be called Able Sisters, but then you say the 'Wi-Fi Room' will be run by Labelle because 'Gracie runs GracieGrace'. I don't quite get that part... All in all, not some bad sounding ideas! -------------------

quote Sonic RushThanks a lot. And... YEAH! YOU'RE SO RIGHT! How could I forget the journals; they were awesome! Well, yeah, I agree about the part of being isolated. It is indeed so much more carefre and worryfree than the real world. You have a point. Thanks a lot! quote squiggle bathCooking, well, yeah, I guess you're right. But it would still be a fun addition, I guess. I don't think it would majorly change the game. (Not trying to criticize you or anything.)But whatever Nintendo decides to do is for the best. ![]() quote ACLover72And what I mean by it is that Labelle doesn't work at GracieGrace anymore. She works at the Able Sisters, with her little sisters Sable and Mabel. And there is a new door on the right wall of the Able Sisters' Shop: that room is the Wi-Fi hub. Labelle is in charge of the Wi-Fi hub. If you go through through the door and talk to her, she gives you options to... A. Trade designs with a friend (Choose DS Download or Wi-Fi and choose your designs) B. Go into Tag Mode/StreetPass (Automatically receive a copy of someone else's designs for you to keep._ C. Give designs to a friend via Wi-Fi or DS Download D. Receive designs from a friend via Wi-Fi or DS Download And in the meantime, Gracie herself is the salesclerk at GracieGrace now. You remember how she gave you fashion scores in past games? In this game, she is the one who sells you the items, PLUS she can give you a fashion eval if you talk to her. Since she works there full-time now, you can get a fashion eval whenever you want to just by talking to her. Do you understand now? And, (sorry last quote XD) like oyu have a personal design storage place with Mabel, you now have a Downloaded Designs storage Place with Labelle. Now do you understand? (No, I'm not trying to act like you're a pain in the neck.) XD Gotenks E: Merged posts together. Just got rid of you quoting yourself. ACLover72 I personally agree with Sonic Rush about the Mayoral rewards. Having everything sports like seems like it would take days to travel around, because of how big it would have to be. Instead of going off into sports, although it would be pretty nice to be able to purchase a ticket for a baseball game or something, how bout after the windmill and lighthouse, you could maybe build a cruise ship, where you and your neighbors (perhaps on wi-fi with other people as well ;D) could sail around :3
Also cooking would be great if it was very simple, as if making something only if your neighbor requests it, like they do bugs and fish. Then you could have the option of catching a fish and using the cookbook tool to make a fried fish or something xD ------------------- ![]() You're going to LOVE ME!

I guess you're right about the town being a little TOO huge. But that's why I thought of automobiles! (Speaking of which, it would be really cool to have car races etc.) Sailing around is also pretty cool. I would love that. You people have some great ideas too! I'm VERY impressed. Oh, and...
Cooking requests? Now THAT is pure brilliance. ![]() Mod Edit: Nov 23, 12 7:32am by Fluidity
