Although not to do with the Biggoron's Sword so let's keep on topic.

Hey, if someone calls me out about Kingdom Hearts, regardless of what thread it's in, then you can bet your Quagsires that I will respond.

The new sheath for the Biggoron's Sword may of been the main reason that I mained the Biggoron Sword. Since it had its own sheath this time around, it made the sword more flavorable for my tastes overall. I found some interesting trivia on Zelda Wiki about the sword. Love trivia:

- The sword is said to be extremely heavy, which is why Link wields it with two hands. This makes it odd that Link would need to wield it with both hands, if the Golden Gauntlets allow Link to lift heavy objects that can be over 2x his weight. This is likely a gameplay mechanic.

- Although the shield cannot be used while the sword is out, Link attempts to protect himself with the blade with the R button. If Link does not have a shield due to a Like Like, he cannot do this, oddly enough.

- Although Biggoron's sword is supposedly unbreakable, Link receives it as the Broken Goron Sword. However, Biggoron states after receiving the sword that it is his finest work, perhaps suggesting that the original blade was imperfected.

Now the first one caught my curiousity. If Link can lift a boulder more than 5x his size, then what is stopping him from wielding the Biggoron's Sword with one hand? Lame game mechanics.

The second one is interesting enough. If Link doesn't have a shield in hand, he cannot attempt to protect himself with the Biggoron Sword's "protect" feature. As it said, odd.

Obviously the gloves work via earthbending, hence why it can lift earthen materials like rocks but has no effect on the finely crafted metal of the biggoron sword.

Sounds like someone has been watching too much Legend of Korra.
