	Log in to remove this advertisement Enemy of the week! Bari Sorry this is late. The Bari is an enemy that is found in Jabu Jabu's Belly. They take an appearance of a Jellyfish, and sting like one, too. Unlike the smaller variety, the Biri, the Bari do not fly after Link. They stay in one place, spinning their electrified arms hoping to catch Link off guard. They can also fall down on Link's head. It may also be possible that the Jellyfish surrounding Barinade are Bari. If this is the case, then perhaps Bari have some type of connection with Barinade, as they seem to be connected to him by an electric 'wire' and can only be killed here when Barinade is stunned and the 'wire' is down. What do you think of the Bari? Do you think they should have been made tougher? Would you have liked to see more of them? Are they linked to Barinade, somehow? What's your opinion on their 'Metroid' like appearance?

	The obvious similarities that the Bari and Barinade have make me automatically assume that they are indeed related. I hate when they fell on top of my head, giving Link not only a shock for his life but a major headache. Good thing we dished out some major payback during the boss fight. -------------------

	Maybe Bari could be a "child" like mini-forme of Barinade. Not only is "Bari" is half of Barinade, it does also share the same annoying qualities. I've never had any of them fall on me because I know how to look up, but I always kept to the walls when it came to Jabu Jabu's belly. -------------------

	Since Barinade is the core part of the disease within Lord Jabu Jabu, I would not be surprised if it decided to have little baby Bari and make them spread throughout the vicinity. -------------------

	I think of Barinade like the queen figure and it creates all the Bari. When threatened, it can then use the Bari to help defend itself. What's really interesting is how the Bari split into Biri. 	Barinade splits into Bari thus splitting into Biri? 	They are easy to kill once we get get the Boomerang, yes. Wouldn't want to go near one until I had it. -------------------

You beat me to it. I think that although Barinade was killed, damage had already been done. Zelda Wiki states that the Parasite Tenticle things (the things that hang from the ceiling) are the roots of Barinade. If that's true, then it would be incredibly hard to recover from something like that going through your gut. Another thing is even though Barinade is killed, Bari still exist. If they can duplicate into 3 Biri, then a single Biri could grow into a Bari and duplicate into 3 more Biri. In the 7 years Link is gone, hundreds of Bari may have been created, and poor Jabu probably couldn't withstand strength of the Bari army.

	It gives us the feeling that Young Link is powerless. We could not save the Great Deku Tree or Lord Jabu Dabu from dying, despite killing the main source of the cause. Simply felt powerless. -------------------

	Young Link might have been a little helpless, but I'm pretty sure his actions gave Lord Jabu Jabu far more time to live than if Barinade was still alive. Even Adult Link was kinda botchy. He got took down easily by Bongo Bongo in Kakariko in a fail moment.

	Someone should of called an exterminator and rid Lord Jabu Jabu of those pesky Bari and Biri to begin with. I have no clue what Link was thinking when he was in that defense stance. Looked more like he was going for a spin attack but did not follow through in time. -------------------

	Yeah, I think it ended up killing him in the same manner as the Great Deku Tree. Take into account the Giant Dead Dodongo and you have yourself a trio for the three dungeons as Young Link. 	Dodongo's Cavern was the only place where we did not have to worry about any diseases killing anybody. -------------------

	Back onto the topic of Bari, any ideas that could have made them harder to kill? I tend to think a moving Bari which had homing abilities would make them slightly more difficult. Biri are the younger version of the Bari, but at least they can move.
