It's really cool. If the two players can be within the view of one camera, then you just have the single screen. But if they move far enough away to warrant a second camera, then rather than hitting a non-existent wall like other single-screen titles would, it smoothly splits off into two parts which can then merge back together once they're near enough again. Something like that for a free-roam LoZ multiplayer would be awesome.

Could be cool.

And I got round to playing MM again today! Didn't do much mind you. I just went through the various Business Scrubs and got all the Pieces of Heart. Still a couple of masks I need to get though before I progress with main storyline.

You have never ever played TP?! Wow, didn't see that coming. Congrats! It's going to last you a long time.

My completion time was around 60 hours, so it's longer than SS. Mind you, it might take awhile to get used to the combat. Link's sword swings aren't in sync, which is the only bad thing about it. To be honest, I don't know if I should try and find a cheap GC copy to play it from now on. I don't think I could ever play a Wii Zelda anymore without MotionPlus controls. :3

I remember struggling the first time I done the quest for the Mirror Shield. The only problem, is I wish you could still equip the Hylian shield like OoT. I'm not so keen on the design of MM's Mirror shield.

Btw, did you get the Gilded Sword?

So is anyone else playing some LoZ lately? Just gotten up to the City in the Sky in TP. I think it has a really nice design to it. And also going back to all our discussion about the potential for more uses for the Cucco, it's interesting that you need the help of the Oocca to get through the dungeon. Reminds me of the dungeon in WW when you need to use the Deku Leaf to get around on the gusts of wind.

MarioJr64 did you start the Hero Mode straight after or a little while on from your original file? Unless you're one of those players who can go through a game 2-3 times consecutively before getting bored, I find it's best to rest it for a few months first. ^^

And WW is the one I need for my collection. Still hoping to see it on the Wii U though myself. ^^ Whether they give it HD or not doesn't bother me.

I thought the linear style it has is a good thing mind you. The style of SS is so that the areas are still large but are done in a way that makes them easy to travel through with great backtracking ability, as well as being able to use statues all over the place to go back to the sky and drop in different areas and whatnot. I can see what you mean though about wanting to do things in an order... you do have that flexibility to an extent, such as the order of the three dragons.

Hmmm, I've heard that point before, but I don't entirely agree with it. Skyloft is a central hub to the game, no different to say Clock Town. There's actually an awful lot of stuff to do around Skyloft when you begin to think about it - it still has several mini-games, for example. And it's deceptively full, as the place makes clever use of design, particularly layering. As for when people tend to say there should've been more in Skyloft, I think they tend to forget that, and are more concerned with the lack of other towns. I also think people forget that all the content is made accessible over time, making it seem like there's only so much to do when there's actually a lot more. I also I like to remind and remember how this is a game about origins and everything is being newly established. It'd be odd to have flourishing towns everywhere, and wouldn't fit with the plot. Neither would having more huge islands, since their home is made up of floating rocks ripped out of the earth to quickly save their lives, and aren't exactly in a prime location to quickly build so much from so little.
