Let's Fix Up Those Sidequests

I never bothered with any of those in the first place.

But I definitely agree. When I find out that the only award for a sidequest, particularly an arduous one, are something useless like rupees or even a heart piece, I lose interested. Either made the quest itself enjoyable, or give a decent reward.

In fact, just make Majora's Mask 3DS already.

actually you can win it without hax somebody discovered it last year and it was confirmed:Start the race transform into young link(while the clock is ticking) go on the bridge and wait 1 week irl(he used an emulator) and young link will transform into old link and you will get -1 seconds and beat him...you still dont get nothing so dont bother

Getting an infinite supply of huge rupees for 100 gold skulltula tokens in the game that already makes it ridiculously easy to rake in rupees was an insult.

The hidden chambers in the Fire Temple that required the Scarecrow Song that only yielded rupees and some gold skulltulas.

what i dint strike is what needs fixing, the skulltula rupee stuff was great since i could quickly run out of ammo with the poe hunt.

fire temple hidden chambers are awesome, and gives an use to an otherwise useless sidequest, and if you are gonna complain about chambers complain about the only hidden chamber of the water temple, and the lack of them in later games.

also insanity prevails remember about the alternate way to unlock mewtwo that needed your GC be on X number hours?

In my opinion Majora's Mask is overrated and doesn't deserve a remake.

I absolutely love side quests, and there's NOTHING more fun then playing through fun, pointless side quests.

To be honest half the side-quests wouldn't be as bad if at least you felt there was a reason you're doing it. Half the NPCs are far too shallow for you to fell at all involved or the need to help them, which only emphasizes how poorly executed half said side-quests are. The remake really needs to take a page from the WW games as far as side-quests are concerned.

More ridiculous novelty stuff like the cow would be awesome. Unlockable artwork/soundtrack stuff like Retro did with the Metroid Prime games would be a cool idea as well tbh.

Anyway, more sidequests would be nice. One of the reasons I preferred MM to OoT. In OoT, if you aren't doing the main storyline, there's not much to explore. In MM, I would spend all three "days" exploring and STILL wouldn't find everything.

Majora's mask is a great game. I don't see how you can't like it. I mean, it's Zelda. Minus 4 temples. Plus a whole slew of sidequests. Plus transforming masks and other masks. Plus collect-a-thons. Plus something that everyone seems to be upsetting over, better graphics then Oot. That sounds like alot more then OoT.

Overated? OoT is over rated. Like I stated before, Majora's Mask has more to do. OoT is overated. Everyone says it's better. But when you look at the facts, MM, of-course in my opinion, is better

I liked OoT, but MM was funner. I still haven't finished it.
