Devil Survivor Overclocked for Europe (and AU)

I have set up on online petition to try and persuade Ghostlight Games (who have published other Shin Megami Tensei games in the past) to publish SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked in Europe (and by extension, Australia).

Please do sign it, even if you don't live in Europe (assuming you at least agree with the sentiment), as i will need as many signatures as possible.

Devil Survivor never came out in Australia. You must simply have a shop near you that stocks US versions of games. Which may have been fine for the DS, but since the 3DS is region-locked, it won't work this time around.
And anyway, i and many other people have already emailed them. The gist of it is that basically they are interested (certainly more-so than the original DS version), but that it is too early days to say one way or the other.
And you say 'it won't work', but that all depends on what you are expecting. Certainly if i were petitioning a large company such as SquareEnix, it would not make a jot of difference. But Ghostlight are much smaller than that, and tend to listen more to fan demand. So while this petition would obviously not be enough to convince them in and of itself, it may be enough to tip the balance in our favour.

Well apparently Ghostlight are in talks with Atlus at the moment. Although whether it's about Devil Survivor Overclocked, or Catherine (which they have also expressed interest in), or both, remains to be seen.

I don't know, it was more-or-less neck-and-neck with Devil Survivor Overclocked in the poll they ran recently (Catherine won by about 2% of the vote), and with Devil Survivor, they won't lose sales to imports like they would with Catherine.
Personally, i think they'll end up bringing over both, the question being which one first (again, Devil Survivor would probably make more sense, as it wouldn't have much competition in the 3DS's early life, and almost no competition from other RPGs). But we shall have to wait and see.

Doubt it. This is too niche for Square Enix.
I think Ghostlight are pretty much our only hope; if they don't do it, then most likely no one will.
