Modern enemies

So, we know that some of the enemies in the previous Paper Mario games were older looking, such as the Hammer Bros.

Clearly in this game however it will be the first Paper Mario game with fully updated enemies in looks. So state your thoughts on this here and whether or not you like it.

For this game, an update is almost always a good thing. Since no other Mario game tends to have the paper like structure found in this game, making them more modern is fine by me.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the original post, but I think I got the gist.

I'm glad they've decided to paperize the modern enemy designs, rather than including a few classic designs here and there. To me, after all of the recent games and how considering how long we've known this game's been in development, not doing so would be a lazy move on Nintendo's part.
