yea im thinking one move set for a tourney would be the most appropriate maybe two but three def seems like it would be too much lol.

I see zero need for an in-match judge. It'd inevitably hinder matches, and just prove no point. Also, to my knowledge advait wasn't giving an idea, just trying to understand mine.

Also, KIUBRs (Pronounced "Cubers") won't be on a volunteer base. More like invitation, winning a tournament earns an invitation at first. And there can be several other factors for getting invitations, but this should be a very strict group. Similar to pokemon, and smash.

Obviously this game isn't as vast as those are, but I think we have enough of a base to be picky about who gets in. Not confined only to neoseeker, but other sites like GQ, GBAtemp, and 3DSforums.

I'm sorry but don't you see? players will do ANYTHING to win. Even cheat. And what would a judge do? Follow 1 guy, so another guy will attack guy 1. And the Judge will watch. He will also announce the fight results on Neoseeker. Does that convince you?

Homing weapons would be terribly hindered, and it'd also ruin the ENTIRE "green light" mechanic. And just in general compromise the validity of the match.
If they're suspected of cheating, using a banned power, weapon, etc. All that needs to be done is for it to be reported, and preferably taking a picture. (Keep your camera/phone near you!)

But really, I've done a LOT of tournaments, online with prizes, AND without prizes.. And offline with prizes. and without any real prize on the line, people tend to play fair since there's really no point to cheating. And even with prizes, it's very sparing. Definitely not to the point where we need a deterrent.

yea advait an in game judge wouldn't make sense because it would throw off the mechanics of the game and the matches could run on the honors policy, by simply cross referencing the results with the other players. Or players could just take a picture of the screen with the camera phones DunnoBro suggested.

On top of that an in game judge would be impossible in LvD matches, which isnt good because the KIUBR regulations have to be consistent in all tourneys for the data to be legit.

I pose our next topic of discussion be how many weapons/power-sets a player gets per tourney (im leaning toward two). And when is a good time to run our first trial run of the tourney, how many players will be allowed in the first tourney, and will there be qualifiers to keep the number of the official tourneys at a manageable level? Maybe even temporary KIUBR to facilitate the first trial run.
