What you can do

* At the moment there are still a lot of pages needed such as Character Pages, Location Pages, and Weapons pages with hardly any information on them.

There are still a lot of Wanted pages that need to be created. Not having these pages can result in not giving the full explanation in some circumstances.

Why should I help out?

A certain amount of contributions a week to the wiki, you can earn yourself a wiki contributor tag, although small edits here and there won't be counted. We do not encourage people to contribute just for the tags, we would prefer you contributed because you enjoy it!

Important!

Anything you add must be your own work, Neoseeker doesn't look too kindly upon plagiarism.

You can use this thread to ask for help or any other questions you may have.

You can also use this thread to inform others of what you plan on adding to the Wiki. We don't want 2 or 3 people working on the same thing only to realize when they've finished someone's already done it. Also as a group, we must agree on the changes being made so the Wiki will be to everybody's liking. Also if you're new to contributing to Wikis, then don't be shy about asking any questions you may have. We'd be more than happy to answer them.

Here's our main planning thread. Any suggestions, feedback or questions can be put here or there - they'll be read one way or the other.

We're really excited to get this off of the ground though everyone! We're currently working on the basics - game pages and info from the games. Our weapons database seems to be going pretty well so far, so I recommend looking into that if you want to read about or help out with the weapons.

We can ALWAYS use help, so everything's appreciated!

Hey everyone! Can we use the wiki embed links as often as possible? I think it'll help make our Kid Icarus NeoWiki the best on on Neoseeker, as well as the best KI Wiki on the web! By integrating the community, we can bring in more editors and get more views, possibly inspiring people to switch from Wikia to us.

This is a pretty simple process. If I wanted to link to our Pit page, I would use this code:

[[w.kidicarus:Pit|Pit]]

See? That produces Pit! We could also make use of this in our threads. For example, the Weapons thread could have links to our weapon pages, giving both more advertisement to the wiki and more information for the readers. If you feel there's reason to, you can always throw in our wiki links. Doing things like this adds to the integration and makes it much more of a community-oriented, reader-oriented wiki, which is what we all want.

If you guys can help with this, that'd be awesome!

Majestic Shadow - Awesome! However...we already have weapon databases, and individual weapons need to stay on that as there really isn't too big of a defining factor except for the appearance and attacks/range. While these haven't been updated in a while, you can find them here. They won't be updated for real until I'm out of school, as I just haven't had time lately. Weapon Fusion is cool though.

Currently, I'm working on the Kid Icarus: Uprising enemies. I've got a template checklist for it right here which I'll be following to make sure I get them all. If you'd like to contribute, here are some example pages to see what it that needs to be done for the pages that are Uprising enemies.

Armin (the ideal page - it has idol, a description, how to beat it, infobox, and the nav template)
Tempura Wizard (still requires Idol)

If you'd like to contribute, please help out! Lemme know if you'd like to work on any specific thing or if you want to just work around the wiki. I'm the resident staff member, and I'm here to help all of you out if you have any questions.

Hey guys! I'm coming to you, the forum, as the sole wiki staff member for the Kid Icarus NeoWiki and as a Wiki Janitor for NeoWikis in general.

My job as a staff member is to edit the wiki and keep it running relatively smoothly. My job as a Janitor is to go around to all of the wikis and forums and see what members would like to do, get some ideas in terms of appearance and generally help out.

I'd like to know two things:

What do you think about the current state of the wiki? I already have a guess as to how this will play out - and yes, the wiki is empty. I'm the only person on there right now, so I have to deal with this, stuff in real life and moderating. Busy.
What could we do to improve it? What would you like to see? This does include some forum integration if you'd like, but I have to know exactly what you want to see it for sure. I'll leave this to you though! Tell me what you'd like to see on the wiki and I'll ask around about it.

If you have any ideas or thoughts about the Kid Icarus NeoWiki, please let me know! Thanks everyone!

Honestly, I'm coming to the forum to see what you guys would like on the wiki. What kind of forum things would you like integrated over there? What kind of wiki integration would you like to see on the forum (trust me, there are plenty of opportunities)?

Symphonic Abyss Hmm I saw that there is a character page and a weapons page. A little more info in there would be cool. Its been a while since I went in the wiki though. Maybe info on where all the zodiac chambers are would help people out.

Oooh, a Zodiac Chamber guide sounds like a great idea.

I'll get to it soon.

We've got a weapon and character database in progress, but they've been kind of halted by the enemy database that can be found on the bottom of that page. THAT's a lot of work, and that's my current project. I'm in the planning stages though.

I'm also going to be getting a Chapter database up soon. We have the very first chapter, but that's about it. ^^; I'm in the process of getting them all up, but it isn't easy to do a wiki alone.
