Finding Terra, Bringing back Aqua from the Dark Realm, and Reawakening Ventus would be a great first half to Kingdom Hearts 3 and then planning and defeating Xehanort and the XIII darknesses would be a fantastic second half of the game. It could make for a epic game with lots of hours of gameplay, which would be great because I hate how the story for each KH game lasts about 30 hours per game.

I would love for a 60 hour storyline for KH3, 30 hours for bringing everyone together and 30 hours for defeating Xehanort. Unless they make bringing Terra, Aqua, and Ventus back into another game before KH3 but I don't think so, but you never know - they might.

Nomura already said that 3D will be the prelude to 3. Also, Sora will probably also save Roxas and Xion as they are also within his heart, along with Ventus. Of course they first have to save Aqua, who is the only one who can locate Ventus' body within Castle Oblivion. And if I had to guess, Namine will need to be around to restore the mind of Terra from the Lingering Will and remove Xehanort's heart from the body of Terra.

I think you might be mistaken on Roxas and Xion (however I don't doubt they will get saved) but if I may list the Lights I take them as follows (open spoiler, I made it to limit the total size of the post)


Yes! 2 too many! Reading all this stuff I personally think Terra would be lost forever and Roxas takes his shape, then again, the question concerning vessels arises because aside from Sora's body, Roxas seems to have no body of his own anymore (I don't remember where I read this but somewhere it said "Roxas sacrificed himself to ensure the awakening of Sora" also Young Xehanort says 'Roxas became to aware of himself and returned to Sora's body')

Then as for the darks (again open the spoiler, again to limit the total size)


Now there are 8 cloaked Darks, if observing the movie named "The past Xehanort" located at Memotos->Riku->The world that never was this is indeed the amount you see. (6 upon summoning of Xehanorts and just after you can see twice 4, this is just before Mickey blasts in and casts his Stopza spell)

I have excluded Young Xehanort for a reason. This is because Young Xehanort says in one of the last cut scenes 'and I will go back to my era to live the lift fate has in store for me'. This states he cannot (yet) be part of the 13 Darks that are bound to clash in a final battle, assuming it will take place in again assuming KH3

I hope this makes any sense (tbh it is the first time I post anything here )

So, this thing just got on my mind, I don't know if it sounds reasonable but to me it does.
It concerns the cloaked Darknesses.

As said before there should be 6 (if I recall correctly?) cloaked darknesses, and I have this hunch that one of them might be Luxord. The reason I have this hunch is because just like Saïx and Xigbar, Luxord is fought (and beaten) by Sora INSIDE The world that never was at the organization's castle. Seeing as both Saïx and Xigbar were revealed as being part of the real darknesses it sounds quite reasonable to me that Luxord might be one as well.

Then another thing: The same reasoning partially goes for Demyx and Xaldin, however they are not killed in The World That Never Was, they are (respectivly) killed at Hollow Bastion and Beast's Castle. Fact is, all the other 'old' organization members got killed in Castle Oblivion in CoM by Sora/Axel (can't remember the story all that well but I do know Axel tells Saïx in 356/2 days that he killed, if recalled correctly, Zexion).

If I would be home I would have checked my hunch by trying to analyse that cutscene in DDD where you see the members spawn, yet as I am not I can't do this so before any negative replies follow, it is just a hunch that I worked out in like 5mins

E4 Morty: If Roxas and Xion don't have a way out, then neither would Ventus. Also, Ansem the Wise said that he may have the ability to bring back those who are connected to him, or in his exact words "To recreate people we thought were lost forever."

Sharky: Xaldin is the Nobody of Dilan, who woke up in Radiant Garden but remains (or remained, we were never given any status updates on his condition) unstable, alongside Even.

E4 Morty:
Sora was needed to save everyone from the coming threat (Xemnas at the time). Roxas recognized this, and willingly gave himself to to allow Sora to become whole once more.

Sora bears the heart of Ventus, which means that Roxas is the Nobody of both Sora and Ventus, explaining why Roxas looks like Ventus.

Sora needed Roxas to rejoin him, as he holds all the memories absorbed by Xion (who is a Replica created from the memories Namine extracted from Sora that began to leak all about). He willingly rejoined Sora after he discovered what he was.

Sora bears the heart of a child, full of light and willing to seek out the good within people. This pure heart allowed him to welcome in the hearts of the lost, like Ventus, Roxas and Xion, who reside their, waiting in the silence.
