Mario Kart Channel Custom GP (Not special prize)

In the new review by GameTrailers, they mentioned that they unlocked a Custom Grand Prix Mode in their playthrough of the game. Now they never physically said that this is the one star in every cup unlockable, but without a doubt this is interesting and good news.
You pick 4 courses to do in a row and then you play them. This is apparently the replacement to Vs mode.


So Vs mode is out, a better Custom GP is in.

Wow! That's definitely a fair replacement! I've always complained how I couldn't make my own cup and play the courses I wanted to in order, but now it looks like I can!

Will this feature be available for online play? That would be excellent. Shoot, even local multiplayer would suit it.

I would have kind of preferred VS Mode. I mean, I'm not sure I'll actually want to do 4 races in a GP, versus just playing one or two races, then heading to multiplayer.

Well there still is a prize, but we don't know if this is it or not. (it probably isn't though since it's part of the mario kart channel... don't know what a Custom GP would have to do with that though)

I feel like this is the kind of thing you'd unlock after you finish your first Grand Prix.

Not even that. This is a feature that you shouldn't even have to unlock. Let it be available as soon as you start the game. You won't be able to use any track you want until you've unlocked and completed all of the cups anyways.
