Gamestop out of Fire Emblem Preorders

Well, my birth certificate was stolen recently, meaning I can't preorder anyway. I guess I'll just get it online instead of physical.

ProudLoz Because that's the only form of ID that I have that EB accepts.

I'm debating on getting the download version now or waiting for the retail version to come back in stock. I'll probably just wait, hopefully other stores will have the game around and I imagine if demand is this high Nintendo has already started a second run.

First time I've run into a game going over preorders though. I had been lulled into a false sense of security.

Oh, I've got plenty of options, I just find Gamestop more convenient.

It must be different in Canada. I've always needed to give them my birth certificate to a.) buy a restricted game or b.) preorder anything. I don't have photo ID, so I can't trade games in (I'm Asian, so I don't think getting a driver's license would be a good idea ;D).

ID to preorder is nuts unless you're using a credit card that may not belong to you. All they want here is at least five bucks for a down payment, no questions asked under normal circumstances.

Well this solves my issue! I was debating on whether or not to sell my Zelda 3DS and get this one, but I get attached to my things so I was hesitant. I can still get it on release day if I try hard enough, but I think I'm gonna wait for a special edition XL.

Didn't GameStop buy EBGames? They became one store where I live.
