Bundle doesn't feature an exclusive 3DS XL color, but does come with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed  Users still on the fence over getting a 3DS ought to wait until this December 2nd before deciding, because that's when Nintendo will officially launch a new $200 USD hardware bundle which includes a blue-black 3DS XL handheld with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed. The $200 price tag isn't a new pricing point for the 3DS XL, as the handheld itself can be purchased separately for the same amount at time of writing. This new "limited edition" bundle has the benefit of basically offering a copy of Mario Kart 7 (currently priced at $39.99 USD) on the side for free, so Nintendo is counting on prospective shoppers to be attracted to the value this holiday shopping season. Target as of next week are also going to start selling regular 3DS's for $140 if their ads are to be believed. Nintendo is really sweatin that mobile market.

*bleep* yeah! I wanted to ask my dad for a XL 3DS for Christmas/my birthday or at least the money for it. This is the XL 3DS I wanted too! Only $200 dollars, and it comes with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed? That sounds good enough to me to get it! I don't think I'll change my mind and get a regular 3DS, but you never know. I want dat XL baby!
