Yup, it transferred everything from the activity log, gameplay times, pedometer steps, everything.

Even the Ambassador games and whatnot? Wouldn't mind upgrading specially if I can get like $100 for my current 3DS...

I'm not sure whether to get a XL or normal 3DS, the thing putting me off the XL is how it looks. Can someone tell me if the normal 3DS is comfortable to play or causes hand cramps?

The XL looks like it's made from cheap material, the colour scheme and options don't appeal to me either. Ah decisions, decisions.

I just ordered one tonight. I don't have a 3DS. I chose the 3DS XL because the larger size of the graphics windows is appealing to me (even though the resolution is the same). Plus, the reviews are pretty good.

I agree with Fluidity about the colors. Pretty plain! I guess I can live with blue, though. Either that or get a skin for it, but I doubt I'll need to go that far.

That sounds great. The non-XL 3DS comes in so many great colors and Cosmos Black looks pretty nice. Besides, it sounds like you really want the non-XL 3DS anyway so you might as well get what you really want.

My 3DS XL has been shipped and will arrive on Thursday!! Pretty exciting.

You can make a non-glasses 3D screen any size you want. The reason you don't see them on TVs yet is that the viewing angle is really narrow. It's much easier to keep a handheld screen dead on in front of you and keep it angled to stay in the sweet spot. A TV has to be viewable in larger rooms by multiple people at a variety of angles, which just isn't feasible with glasses free at this point.

I am no longer picking up a 3DS XL - - because today it arrived and now I have one!!!

I am pleased to report that IRL the color is AWESOME - - it is not just plain looking blue like in the photos you see online, but a really intense, vibrant, metallic matte finish blue. I tried to photograph it just to show you, but the intensity is hard to photograph (which is why it looks so plain in the photos, I guess). The camera flash washes it out. Anyway, I love the color and no way would I cover it up with a skin.

Also, I am so glad that I got the XL because the size seems perfect for me. It's just right for my hands, anyway.

Just charging it up for the first time...
