I vaguely remember playing a Link to the Past when I was really young, but I didn't really start playing Zelda until 2002 when I picked up Majora's Mask, played every Zelda game bar Twilight Princess and Spirit Tracks, since.

A full dungeon ghost ship? I guess the idea turned into the actual ghost ship, but I kind of liked searching for it based on the moon. But the whole jumping-in-pot puzzle was not my cup of tea.

By the way, over the summer I have to read a book by an American author (no idea why it has to be American...) but could anyone tell me a good classic that won't bore me to death?

"To Kill A Mocking Bird", "Little House on the Parie", "Uncle Tom's Cabin", "MONSTER", I don't know if this is the American you want but "100 Years of Solitude" was interesting. It was done in Mexico though.
Give me a few more hours to remember, and I could probably list some more.

Edit: I believe "Book Thief" is American. "Bushido: The Soul of Japan" was actually wrote in the United States if I remember correctly, and was then translated into Japanese.

Edit2: "The House of The Scorpion" is a book that was wrote in Mexico or the U.S.. It's a personal favorite.
The "Tales of Huckleberry Finn" is an another American classic.

Edit3: "Cirque du Freak" is a good series, but I believe Darren Shan is a U.K.er.
"Call of The Wild", "White Fang", and "Sea Biscuit" are possibly American.

Edit4:I haven't read much American literature now that I think about it, I mainly read European books I guess. Most of the American literature I've read was about southern racism and the like.

*bleep*, that's depressing.

Also, "Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry" was another American work.

I think its really sad (I shouldn't say sad, more like boring) that the majority of American literature is about southern racism. It gets really boring, and even after about 4 years of reading books with the theme, I still can't fully understand southern vernacular. (Wow that sounds pretty nerdy...)

Anything Mark Twain. He pretty much is the American Author.

I like Puddinhead Wilson personally. Kind of a Sherlock Holmes/CSI of the 1800's American South.

Agreed, I think southern literature is too focused on the old south. It probably doesn't help that all the note worthy books were done before equal rights.
Of course, I would rather be waddling through the collective guilt towards racism than having to deal with New South censorship.

It's too bad I couldn't think of some more books, but most good authors are European, unless it's under the romance section. That has been populated with American sex fantasies to the point where I feel less dirty walking through the porn section than romance.

But yeah, I was a bit disappointed about Leon not being in the roster, but at least Jill and Claire are and that's good enough for me. However, I might not buy the game on the first day.

I just got to the water temple, do I need to worry about keys and using them on the wrong door? Or was that fixed?
