How would you know that exactly? I've owned it twice...you dunno when I bought my first copy.

It's one of the worst Tales games out everywhere. 2nd best in America imo. Abyss is the only better one, and we're getting that for 3DS (woot)

Fine then Karis. When did YOU get the game first? And also, Eternia, Vesperia and Dawn of the New World are all better.

Meh. The battle system had no real quirks other than the "let out a howl" with the weapons. The job system was there, but it really wasn't that good of one IMO. If you wanted to use Djinn or Summons, you had to lower your stats, and in Golden Sun that REALLY isn't a good idea unless you Summon Rush your way through the game, and that's just boring. And most Psynergy wasn't even that useful. The only ones you really need are healing ones and the ones used on the field. Otherwise, I found it more useful to use weapons and their releases (especially in Lost Age), and I ended up rarely using Psynergy after the beginning. It ended up for me "whatever gives me the best defense and physical offense" when I decided the jobs. I'm still getting GSDD, but I'm not excited with it.

And while I usually don't care for a plot, if you want me to bring it up I will state my opinion on the GS plot.


Also, I just realized since I first got the GS games I've always called Adepts Psynergists for some reason. It just makes more sense though, I guess.

I dunno. Near a month after it got released. twas my first Tales game ever, and I loved it. <3

dotnw sucked. get off of battle systems and move to plots. Good god games aren't all about gameplay.

Plots are not important in games. Read a book if you want a good plot. The Battle system was much better and you know it.

Even then, I preferred DotNW's plot to the original Symphonia's. Bite me.

Really? I could've sworn I saw something for that, but meh...


If I end up getting a second WIi instead of sending in my current one, I'll homebrew my old one with the broken disc drive and just play Wii games off a harddrive. Then when I find something I think is worth buying I'll buy it.
