To clear up some of the commonly asked questions in the forum, I am making a list of the answers to these questions here so less threads with the same question will be created.
I beat Legion, but I didn't get his soul. How do I get it?You have to beat Legion by destroying all his shells before destroying the inner core. If you destroy Legion before all his shells are destroyed, he will not give you his soul, and you'll either have to trade or start a new game to get it.
I can't get past the waterfall that blocks the Forbidden Area...First, you need to get either the Devil, Manticore, or Curly soul. Next, you need to use the soul all the way back, if you get too close, the waterfall will halt you from going further and you'll be pushed back.
Where is the Skull Key?You might have heard about the Skull Key on another site, but so far there is no way in the game to pick up this key, we have no idea what it is supposed to do either.
Where is the Chaos Ring and what does it do?You have to get every soul in the game. Once you do so, it can be found in the small dead end rooms in the Chaotic Realm. It will allow you to use Souls without an MP cost.
What are the three books for?Around the castle you will spot and perhaps pick up. They seem useless, but they actually tell you clues about what three souls you need to have equipped when fighting Grahmn to be able to get access to two more bosses.
What are the three souls you need to use against Grahmn to be able to fight Julius Belmont and Chaos? To save you time in trying to figure it out the clues on the books, the three souls you need to have equipped are Flame Demon, Giant Bat, and Succubus.
The Soul Eater Ring is so expensive! How do I get money fast enough or lower the price? The Gold Ring will increase your chances of enemies dropping large amounts of money, such as $500 and $1000 bags. If you use the Tsuchinoko soul, you can lower the price of the ring to $240,000. The corridor in The Arena with two Weretigers, a Killer Mantle, and a Giant Skeleton holds a candle that always drops $1000. Selling Joyesue found in the foribidden area grants you $90,000. Heck, you might not be able to buy it for awhile, but if you play again in Hard Mode after beating the game and sell the weapons you have spares of, you can make easy money.
What is the most powerful weapon? Some may say Claimh Solais. Some may say Death's Sickle. Some may say Excalibur. Lets look at these weapons closer shall we?
Claimh Solais: This weapon has a light attribute. Light attacks do very well against a lot of monsters in the castle because they are dark attributed. Not as strong as the others, but the more powerful attacks with the light attribute make up for it.
Death's Sickle: There are some monsters that are weak to darkness, like animals, that does good damage to them. This weapon has the highest ATK increase too. Unfortunately, a lot of the monsters in this game are dark attributed, so this does less damage to them.
Excalibur: This weapon does regular damage to all monsters(Excluding Final Guard and Iron Golem). Thats good and bad on its own. Its bad mainly because it does no extra damage to monsters like Claimh Solais or the Sickle. Plus this weapon is on the slow side.
EDIT-Spelled powerful wrong
