My only concern is that inFAMOUS 2 comes out 3 weeks after L.A. Noire, hopefully I will have time to juggle the games. And yeah I will deffo have completed L.A. Noire by then (although, Rockstar claim it's over 30 hours long) but I like to go back and make it feel like I've got my money's worth out of a game and absorb all it has to offer.

Hhhm it seems the summer blockbuster game list isn't too large for me. Infamous 2 and E3 2011 are the only things of note! Although L.A Noir is looking pretty sweet (if it wasn't made by Rockstar though i'd surely not even mention it), it's not my cup of tea. While i'm all for in-depth story telling and a constant narrative, i don't think it's all that great for games to try to be movies.

The last quater of the year will be more jam-packed for my shopping list. Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations and the new Twisted Metal. When is Last Guardian coming out? Then onto 2012 with Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Metal Gear Solid Rising.

I'm hoping Infamous 2 will have some extensive DLC. Why can't all devs release DLC like Rockstar? Adding whole extra storylines is just epic.

It should really be L.A. Noires.

inFamous 2 definitely looks like a contender for GOTY.

So many GotY, inFAMOUS 2, Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, Bulletstorm, LittleBigPlanet 2, Batman Arkham City, L.A. Noire...

ya, bulletstorm was kind of a failure in some regards, especially since Killzone 3 beat it. All 4 One did not the acclaim nor is it the genre to get GotY, which is why LBP2 will probably not get it either. Arkham City is a maybe, but for some reason, I think the hype for it make it not live up to such hype. It wont be considered a failure, but some will be disappointed that it did not blow them away like the first game did (my opinion though).

^ Those the are games at the top of most GotY contenders (is it the year of the 3's or what? ), I think infamous 2 could compete with any of them from what we have seen
