well i just finished this game and i still dont understand what she is?? can some one tell me plz.

she is a robot, but a child robot because the old robots were made as adults but they went crazy and were tough because they were bigger.

Konoko is human indeed. They put a Daodean Chrysilis inside her when she was young. As Kerr said, the chrysilis is an evolved clone of the person it was patterned after. It seems the clone slowly replaces the body of the host (or at least the organs and body parts) when it is damaged. What you face at the end of chapter 14 after killing Griffin is Muro whose original body is completely replaced by the chrysilis-clone. The reason Griffin and the others are worried about you all the time is because they are afraid you'll turn into something like Muro.

she is not a bot, she is a human, she has a crysilis inside her that takes her over later in the game, she is a human and they were worried not that she would become ike her brother but that she would become uncontainable, ie, she would become rampant. they were worried that if this happened that she would be worse then muro, or worse, join up with him.

Konoko is not a robot. She was born to Jamie Hasegawa, who died later in an accident during an attempt to try and find out more about a conspiracy.

Anyway, Kerr and Konoko's father were working on a project called the Daodan chrysallis. It was an organism which would grow and develop to repair and replace damaged and destroyed parts of its host. The results would be a far more powerful being, much like highly accelerated evolution. At this rate, the effects of the evolution might become erratic and unpredictable. No big corporation wants something powerful and uncontrollable, regardless of the consequences. This is why, once she goes against something the TCTF orders, she is labelled as dangerous and a target.

The chrysallis keeps her from being devoured by the acid in the vats. It is also the reason for her increased physical capabilities, such as being able to jump twice her height, enhanced speed, and the ability to "over-power" on hypos. The reason she would never become a monster like Muro, though, is because the form you take from the chrysallis is a reflection of your true self as a person. Very anime-esque.

So there you go. She's not a robot.
