Welcome to the fourth annual All-Star Clan War! This is the preliminary round of the event in which the clans participating in the West Division shall compete against each other as well as one inter-division clan in order to see who will be crowned Division Champion and Division Runner-up. Those two clans will represent this division in the Final Knock-Out Round. Good luck to Cool Comic Clan, n00bs Retreat Clan, and The Alpha Dragons Clan on their first step to the 2012 Pokémon Clan Forum Champion title!

Announcement

I've been getting a few concerns about the new meta-game that's been put in place with the release of Pokémon Black and White 2 in Japan. There has been many changes in the game-play such as the release of event Pokémon, new forms for Pokemon, and new move tutor moves. People have been wondering whether or not we will adapt to it during the course of this event. So I found it necessary to inform you that we will be sticking to the meta-game as of June 21, 2012, the starting date of this event and before the release of Pokémon Black and White 2 in Japan. We will continue to use the rules we have now and will continue to not include Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, the new forms of Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, Uber Pokémon, and any move tutor moves that were introduced in Pokémon Black and White 2. We will be keeping all of the rules since the event started. I do not want to give battlers privileges later in the competition that weren't originally given during the start of this event and before the release of Pokémon Black and White 2. I will be notifying everyone in this tournament and also placing this announcement in the rules of each first post. Clan leaders please get the word out in case not everyone sees this. Thank you for the cooperation.

☆ Overview of Rules and Methods of Battling

All battles in this competition will adhere to Smogon University's OU Battling Rules for 5th Generation, 6 vs. 6, Single Battles as of June 21, 2012. Pokémon Online battles are encouraged to be carried out on Smogon University's server (Advanced Connection 173.233.95.2:5080) under Standard OU, and Wi-Fi battles should be set to No Restrictions with Wonder Launcher Off while still incorporating these rules. Hacked Pokémon will be acceptable as long as they do not have impossible stats, moves, abilities, genders; the Pokémon cannot be unreleased. Intentional disconnecting or breaking of the competition rules will result in disqualification.

☆ Battling Clauses

Sleep Clause: Only one Pokémon can be asleep on a person's team at a time. The move Rest does not affect this rule.



Freeze Clause: Only one Pokémon can be frozen on a person's team at a time.



Disallow Spects: *Optional* Nobody can watch your battle.



Species Clause: No duplicate species of Pokémon may be on the same team.



Wi-Fi Battle: The battle will be treated as a Wi-Fi battle and will enable Team Preview on Pokémon Online.



Self-KO Clause: If both players have only one Pokémon left, the use of moves that KO the user will result in their loss.
