Every week starting on Wednesday and going Till Sunday of the same week, a new Neoseeker Weekly Tournament will start. Each week will feature the same general theme, Standard Gen 5 OU. The fourth week of each month, however, we will have a larger Monthly tournament which will feature a unique theme choosen by Me, Gotenks, or Pokeman 2011. Monthly Tournaments will count for DOUBLE the points a weekly would count for. Finally at the end of each year we will have a large Yearly Tournament, in which you can earn QUADRUPLE the points of a weekly. Themes for those will always be Standard 5th Gen OU. Weeklies XAT Chat ►About the Tournament: * Each weekly will consist of standard rules match. * The themes for the Monthlies are ultimately decided by Old Man Zangetsu, Pokeman 2011 and Gotenks. If you have a theme suggestion, feel free to tell us in this thread, in the chat, or through PM. The latter is the most effective for us to see and remember them. Honestly, suggestions posted in this thread and the chat will probably be ignored. Unless its a slow day. Still we welcome and encourage you guys to send in themes. We want this to have the communities touch. * Each tournament will be single elimination. Yearly's will be Double Elimination. Monthlies are yet to be decided. * While each weekly lasts for a week, there will be a two day deadline for round 1 and another 2 day deadline for round 2. No exceptions. * There will be small prizes available to the top finishers in the Weeklies. The grand prize is a place in the Forum Header (oooo aaaaaah) along with 5 points. The Second place prize is 3 points and third and is 2 points. * It's a lot of fun! Which is why you should join! ►Signing Up: * Signups will be taken in this thread. * Signups will begin every Monday and end on Wednesday when the tournament starts. * The monthly's theme will likely be posted well ahead of time (at least a week in advance, usually two). It is possible to see repeat themes. * Most tournaments will cap at 16 players. Some may go up to 32 if enough players sign up. * Signups are taken on a first come, first served basis. However, it is likely that we will need substitutes. Feel free to sign up as a substitute. * If you need to drop out for whatever reason, that's fine. Just be sure to actually tell the hosts unless you want to make us very angry. And this should be obvious, but do not sign up if you cannot play. The times are posted, so dont join if you cant make them. * When signing up include which Bracket you wish to participate in, (Wifi or PO or Both) and include all the proper info for the brackets you sign up for! ►Playing: * Be ready to play at the start of the tournament. If you do not have a team ready to go at the start, you will be subbed out. This is a fast paced tournament, and it will not be delayed on account of a single person. This applies to substitutes as well - have a team ready to go. We will finish each tournament sunday evening. No exceptions. * Matches will be posted on the last page and in the second post of this thread. Start your match as soon as you can find your opponent. We will have an XAT Chat set up for all participants and hosts to make finding them easier. * The tournament will be hosted on the Main Pokemon Online server on the TeamNeo Channel, for PO, and wifi will be handled in the XAT Chat/Here. * Do not scout your opponents. You can watch any match you like, but if a player asks you to leave then you must do so. Failure to comply with this rule will get you banned from future Weeklies including the current one. * Be sure to post the results of your match in this thread as soon as it finishes. Post even if I or another host was watching your match. Post even if you PM me on Pokemon Online or Xat or Neo. * It is recommended that you save logs in order to avoid disputes. * There will be two brackets. One is a Wifi Bracket, One a PO Bracket. When joining please specify which one you wish to participate in. You are also allowed to participate in both if you so wish. Also be sure to include your FC and or PO name when joining. ►Rules: * Standard Smogon battling rules apply (sleep, freeze, species, soul dew, self ko, OHKO, and evasion clauses on, timer on). Its also OU unless otherwise stated by the theme. Refer to this, for the rules. * Have good sportsmanship. Things like spamming, flamming, scouting, and being obnoxious will earn you an automatic forfeit. ►Leaderboard and Points: * The leader-board is where we keep track of the players who progress the furthest in each tournament. The more games you win, the more points you get. * Points Breakdown o 4th: 1 Point o 3rd: 2 Points o 2nd: 3 Points o 1st: 5 Points * Below you will find the current Leaderboard ------------------- Fire Emblem 3DS!
