Apparently there was a review with A-Hole wannabee director Uwe Boll -(actually, he's not trying at all, he's using a tax loophole in Germany to make money on returns! He wants his movies to fail!), and he stated he's got the rights to direct a Fear Effect movie (which will be horrible). He did however admit that Eidos is getting the gears rolling on the series. Inferno was called by name if I believe. Anyhow, may still be hope. As long as the game is released before the movie drives any audiences away.

Wow really? I'm not expecting anything until I hear more confirmation, but I can say I'd probably buy it if they did make it.

I'd at least rent it. Considering cel shading's come up quite a bit, they could do more.
