Beat my internet cap speed!

I dont know where to post this but since this forum is about networking, i'll post it here.

So ive been using utorrent for about 2-3 years now. And whenever i download something, the max download speed it goes up to it 1.1Mb. I thought that was good and was enough for me but ive always wondered if there was somethine else i could do to go above my limit. (btw, ive always put my download speed limit to 'un-limited'. Just today (as of 9/11/11), my friend showed me this good technique in order to increase the speed. He suggest cheat engine. Now ive been using utorrent for about 2-3 years and i download bare things... legal things... and i knew cheat engine had nothing got to do with internet speed or utorrent. I went to youtube and typed in cheat engine on utorrent. As i suspected, most videos about it had eithier people saying it works, or people saying it didn't work. Now it was the time to deifnatly find out. I went downloaded cheat engine and followed the steps on youtube and to my surprise, it went above 1.1mb. For 2-3 years, ive always been seeing 1.1MB but now i saw 1.8MB!

I think it would've gone higher if i made it continue the whole download...

So heres my question, what does cheat engine have to do with utorrents dlling speeD?

I'll probably download a big file (possible 7gb) and do the whole cheat engine thing and I'll look at the ETA. If the ETA decreases whilst the download speed increases then it seems like it works

From searching around it looks like it just changes the displayed download speed, but has no actual affect on the real download speed itself.

I had cheat engine myself.. but I uninstalled because it has no effect on the actual torrent.. my advice would be to get rid of it.. it can do more worse than good.
