My Laptop's Wireless Won't Turn On

So I have an Asus laptop (I can lookup the specific model if you guys think it will help). I've had it for almost half a year, and in the past few months the wireless will randomly turn off. Usually restarting or leaving the computer alone for awhile would fix it. The last time it did it however, it wouldn't turn back on. It would say no wireless networks are available, and when I troubleshooted (troubleshot?) it, Windows told me my wireless wasn't turned on.

Now I have a physical switch on the front that turns it on and off, and no matter how many times I flicked it, the wireless still wouldn't come on. Took it into Best Buy, and the Geeksquad guy showed me my newbie mistake. Turns out there's a function key on the keyboard that also controls the wireless, and apparently they both have to be turned on. As soon as I enabled wireless through the function key, it worked. However a few days ago it turned off again, and no no matter what I do I can't get it to turn on. Any ideas?

Eh I've had it charged, so I don't think that's it.

A little more info. You know how when it's turned off, a little radio tower appears on the screen with a circle and line through it, and when you turn it on, the tower brightens up? Whenever I turn either the function key or the switch on the front on or off, the same image appears. it's the radio tower without a line through it, but it's not brightened up, it's just greyed out. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

recvoer your wirles hard wear from windows cd that come wiht your laptop mybe it vuris or you dellte so just rescover it from your cd that come wiht the laptop

I know this is an old article, but I have had this problem for a month now so it really helped reading. I felt really dumb tho when I tried moving the mouse and clicking the tower thing and it worked lol. Happy, but dumb.
