BAL, a few questions from a noob.

So, I've been lurking around the forums for a while and I thought it was about time to join since I had some unanswered questions. I recently bought PES (my first one, FIFA has always had a monopoly over me). I've been fooling around with BAL and It's amazing fun because FIFA has never had a decent game mode quite like it.

As for my questions, I have two.

If you happen to read this Chelskiman, how did you train your CM's speed/accel from the 70s into the low 90s. I have had nowhere near your success in training speed, any tips you share would be highly appreciated. If I misread your stats or there is something I'm missing please let me know .

Secondly, I've heard of some people using created/edited players in BAL. I managed to pull it off but they develop EXTREMELY slowly, even at low overalls (I made a 61 overall amf). I tried giving him early/lasting growth and It was still painfully slow, any tips?


And since I'm already posting, does anyone know any good starting combinations for an AMF? Any playstyle welcome, I'll check em all out.

I see, I'll try this later. This is my first PES game so I don't think I could handle top player but I'll give it a shot because my team's AI is atrocious. Maybe the higher difficulty will help them be more intelligent >_>.

The speed of your players speed growth always to be slow.
My player was 60-to-65 spd/acc. Now 79/79.
Thats after 7 seasons.
I did not ever train speed often, so i make assume, if you always have 4 or more Speed focus points your player may become faster, quicker.

My player is AMF, and i found it most impossible outrunning players and to beating them with pace. But with my particular playstyle, i did not need the speed. I could always beat players with skill and find(try) the right pass.

It was not till my 4th season when i began to put few focus points on speed. It did not grow quickly, but slowly getting faster.

If you having trouble beating players, i suggesting checking the pre-game opposition team. Check their OVR, and find their weakest players in the start line-up. (Should be Topics, in main menu).
Thats what i done, all my career. And then i know which players to attack head on the most.
And which can i beat.
