Both would be interesting. I'd probably start a Leeds one though. You could generate a more interesting story line: leading a once European force back to its glory days after its misery. I suppose Portsmouth could be more of a challenge though, making it realistic in PES terms. I mean, it wouldn't be realistic to virtually spend much over a million pounds for the next few years with Portsmouth, so if you managed to get them anywhere without spending over that, then it'd be rewarding; interesting to read too.

As for me, I've already sort of plotted out my SOMS. Intending to be a 'first person' narative like SOMS, with the story told by my BAL who uses football as a way of redeeming his life and the mistakes he's made.

I suppose people are looking for more recognition. As long as they keep updating their threads, then I don't see a problem. I'm sure the ones that aren't updated will lose interest fast or be closed by the mods.

I'm not sure of the mods intake of this situation, but I'm concerned that everyone will start to replicate these guys and start their own threads that aren't necessary. My idea of a SOMS, or one worthy enough of having its own thread, are the ones that are like the stories in the FM Stories forum, where creativity and imaganation captivates the readers and keeps them interested. Not sure on the mods intake of this, but this is just how I see it.

It's pretty vague, but as long as you feel confident that your thread will be worth it, then you can have your own thread for it. It should be updated regularly too.

There's no point in posting up SOMS threads just because everyone else is doing so. I want quality, not quantity in the forum.

Fair play then...I'll probably be starting a Master League in the next few days and I've got some interesting ideas for keeping track of things that I normally wouldn't so I might start a thread for it to see if anyone's interested in following it...

This forum in particular has a local mod, five section mods and a super who browses regularly. Anyone who wants to cause trouble (Lyonnais) will feel the wrath of a thousand mods.
