all i'm seeing here is join guild this, join guilds that. i'm not interested in guilds they have lost they're true purpose anymore and just turned into huge popularity contests. its all about who has the most players and how high they're rank can get. that's not for me.

They indeed do show up everywhere. We do our best to keep the guild free of them though. Over the past 3 months I've probably reported 5 or 6 myself and all were removed.

Why would they want to spend $10 for a new geonet license? Not trying to sound all skeptical, but with the amount of modded players on there, it really is difficult to really tell who is legitimate on this game now. Full makeover tickets are cheap and rebirthing takes little time to disguise yourself. So the chances of you actually having modded players enter your guild are still quite high. I also wouldn't take peoples words when they say so and so is a modded save user. I have come across a few scenarios where the people accusing the other player of using a modded save was completely false. The accuser ended up just being some prick who enjoyed trolling that person or was jealous of them for whatever reason.

The only way I have found that you can easily identify cheaters is by their trophies, especially if they were acquired within same or unreasonable timeframes. However, trophies can only go so far. Former legitimate players, players who already platinumed this game months ago, and new players are now turning to modded saves just to play or enjoy this game. In the two former cases, I can kind of understand why they would turn to the usage of modded saves - obviously people would disagree with this for x amount of reasons however. I have heard or read them all.

Moreover, I have yet to see anyone who was actually banned from PSN or Geonet over the use of their modded save. I know in the Japanese WKC2 servers they can track down who is using such files easily, but on NA/UK nothing has been done about it to date. The sad reality is that I don't think anything will ever be done about it either. Sony and D3P have clearly shown that they have no interest in updating this game further for NA/UK or even moderating it in-game as well.

It's really hard to take these anti-modder threads seriously now though. They all tell the same problem that has been overstated so many times now, with no resolution to date.

Anti-modders will continue to rage while the modded save players will rebel against them until the game's servers are officially shut down one day. That is the current state of the Geonet community. It will never change sadly.

Everyone can co-exist. As long their not hitting 9999 damage on every hit, I don't see the big deal. Abandoning longtime friends just because they decided to use a modded save is even worst.

look dont get anoyed by mods out there... there is always a room with the word legit out there.... i can tell u this because several members of the guild im in make rooms with the word "legit" anyways heres my info in case u need a legit tank

otherwise your just using this thread to create a flame war which again Should be left in the geonet message boards ^_~

I'm quite new to this geonet stuff however it's hard not to notice modders. I agree they're polluting a fantastic game but we shouldn't discriminate against them. I've come across some nasty words (when I was online) from a pure gamer to a modder. In the end we just need to separate ourselves. If it's an issue, don't antagonize, just ignore.

yea sure people would complain about grinders and GA but people still are doing that just you dont hear about it as much because theres to many Mods

point is there will always be stuff people complain about and modding in a online game gives people an actual reason to complain

not to mention its against sonys TOS to use PSN
