Bow questions and looking for a guild

Elemental bolts/tips are mostly useful against the elemental golems and dragons and are kind of expensive SP wise. On the other hand the passive stats you miss if you take them don't make a big difference.

Once done with bow skills, take all the passives you can from the other trees. Keep in mind that VIT isn't all that important and you can skip some HP passives as well. Also from the staff tree make sure you stop after the level 2 passives and save 50 SP.

If you're thinking of sticking with bow in the long run, you might as well get all the skills (elemental tips and everything) to get 100% in the tree so you can wield certain weapons that are really good at their level. But in the beginning, the elemental tips would be good to use if you don't have any elemental weapons, so you should consider it. But in the long run, I recommend that you get elemental weapons and skip out on the tips.

As for what skills to get in other trees, the most important for bow is dex and agi. Bow is extremely inaccurate, so you're going to want to get your dex really high to be consistent. As for agi, bows are kind of squishy as heck. That extra agility along with conceal and dark shot will do wonders for you

Get the elemental attacks and try them out. The thing I liked about them is they give you a little more damage on slash weak, elemental weak monsters- like Fenrir, for example, (using an elemental barrage vs triple nock).

As for other passives, I'd grab the short sword passives for sure. I'd look for agi, dex, str first, then mp, hp, vit, spr (in that order).

If you plan to make bow your main/only class, I recommend getting 100% at some point, and trying everything out. Change your commands around so you can get a taste of everything. Depending on your build, you should be able to get most/all of the passives from other skill trees.
