WKC start help

ok just getting into the first part of the game, do i need to max out anything from WKC1 before i start on WKC2? i read a few things transfer over... or do i just complete the first half of the game and worry about min maxing my characters in WKC2?

all the DLC purchasable content... should i even bother if the rumor is they might shut off online mode?

i wouldnt mind buying the extras for georama if i can still enjoy it for a while, wether or not many people play online.

i would be really let down if online was gutted.

georama.. i read there are lots of great towns to add to a list... should i worry about what i include in my town for bonuses at all early on?

or is there an optimal build i should try to reach to help me end game?

is it worth making a guild even if you dont plan to go big? or just follow suit and join the big established ones?

i was reading up on rebirth and reincarnation.. and abilities carrying over.. if i want to get as close as possible to getting all skills on my main hero for WKC2 i should max my abilities from WKC1 before i start 2?
