A few questions about bow.

The main reason we probably hit the head is because that is where it is when you start the battle. So we hit the head to have its accuracy down first then followed by concealed.

Those and then the AoE moves are useful. Mainly judgment and pierce.

I personally don't use angels hymn so someone else will have to answer that one ^^.

Now my AGI with lux bow is 205. I seem to dodge most of the time, but i don't know when the AGI will max out. For my DEX i have 139, which still lets me hit good. I heard from someone that DEX maxed out at 160 or 170 or something like that for bow (may be wrong, just what i heard). And for STR i have 180ish i think it was. And i don't think STR maxes out (could be wrong again, just what i heard ^^).

The lowest value i would accept for AGI is 160, i really like my AGI lol. And for DEX, i would not go below mine, so 140+. And STR i really just take what i can get.

I assume most ppl darkshot the face because that's were the enemy's eyes are at. not really proven more effective yet.

Tripleknock is the most effective move for stunning or sleeping a monster

Don't get the elemental tips rapsody kinda point less nowadays

My friend has mained bow all her life on WKC2 and she basically carried me through the game, lol so all my knowledge is second hand - but it does make sense.

Dark Shot anywhere and yeah, the head gets the debuff but I do know that most of the time, when you're at extreme range, the head gets targeted first if you're facing the enemy.

Triple nock has three hits and more often than not, you'll miss one of those hits from time to time. For an extra 4MP per attack, my friend uses +Pierce instead as her main thrust attack since it deals the same damage as Triple Nock's damage IF all three hits of Triple Nock lands on the enemy.
The only time Triple Nock will outdamage +Pierce is when Triple Nock's three hits all critical and all hit three times each. Since you only have to worry about +Pierce's single hit, hit once, you'll consistently be dealing damage.

Dex for Bow caps out at 163 if you aren't using Lux, Com_Azrael has all of this extensively covered on GFAQs. With Lux, you'll only need 150 dex. You'll need a balance of dex, agi, str and MP to keep your role of support in good order. I don't think my friend feels comfortable with anything less than 170 agi and 500MP. Her dex is around 150 even with Minerva Wings on and aside from minerva wings, ignored str completely since she's not interested in being a damage dealer but support instead.

Angel's Hymn was used on me around twenty times (we were farming for Muddy stones together and I'd usually die in one hit back when I was GR22 from Rock Hound's enraged Munch, lol (Demon's Aura, you know..?) and everytime it dropped a stone would only be when I died) I'm not entirely sure on the exact number (22?) but I do know it didn't work nine times so take what you will from that.

If you have room for the elemental missiles, then nice one!
Me and my friend couldn't fit them in there and the only use I can find for them is to find what element the knights are weak against in Vell, if they even have an elemental weakness. Bow's fast enough to be able to elemental sting them all and find out straight away what element they're weak to (if those skills are as fast as sting anyway)

My friend uses Sting for building AC, +Pierce and Double Nock for thrust damage, Burst Tip for Strike, Angel's Wing for staggering enemies, Decoy for picking hate/aggro off of me then the bread and butter of Bow - Dark Shot and Conceal for evasion tanking. +Hurricane Song and Spirit's Hymn are awesome as well but they're both slow moves.

Bolt Doubler and Tripler are a must... She's talked to three other bow players who think there's no point in having these two abilities but they help a ton when you're using Stun/Sleep Tip. (one reason why you could use Triple Nock as well)

Focus and the three expertise skills to get/reach it (I think) are also handy to have. Mana IIs giving 75MP is really nice and gaining 1AC for 2-3 Stings is nice as well.

I know with my dex str set up i hit 90% of my shots. My dex is 175 and my str is at 150. Right now with lux bow plus 20. I use dark shot at the start to blind and if i can paralyze a mob i do so. While doing my best to support with spirts song

FYI Bigga- The knights in Vellgander will be colored if they have an elemental weakness (like the first two rounds in Meddlers), otherwise they don't have one (aside from Luthia, Dinivas, Larvayne, and Adolmaea which require a mage to lower their res).

I thought it was interesting that the lux bow has int. Has anyone tested a lux bow vs another nonelemental with no int, and how the missiles compare? I guess you would also need to make sure str is the same for both.

I concur, that stat perplexed me for a very long time and I resisted for a while in getting the LUX bow, but then I realized if u input an element on it, it would probably make the attack more potent and also the fact that the overall ATK was more than the GLITTERING bow. But I never tested this theory because I had already made all the elemental bows and didn't want to waste time farming for more mats.
