It's the most cost effective class with satisfying outcome. Mage can deal 6000+ dmg to foes. Your EG can deal about 4000 dmg when you have 700+ mag. However, for me, I like to see big golden numbers show up(magic doesn't have critic) when I attack foes and I enjoy the excitement fight closely to boss:) That's why I go for LS/Axe My EG does 3600 @ 530 MAG... but as a mage I have to say it is not the best DD. It is the best at refreshing team MP and near insta cast heals/buffs/Debuffs. There is no best all around class, every class has its thing. Just find what thing you like to do. eh..really? Are you talking about FA? I am surprised you can do 3600 with just EG and 530 mag. Did you get knight buff and LS used spirit breaker? I have tried mage class myself, my mage gears give me 671 mag, I normally deal 3700+ damage to things when I use EG on them(with magic boost but without help from others). mage isn't the best all around class, but it can do everything considerably well. It can tank, support and damage dealing. Mage can also easily kill these mobs that nullify physical attacks. Most importantly, mage only needs 1 staff, it is very cost effective. Considering tk weapon needs so many rares, this is a big advantage for mage. To me, after all the trade-offs, mage is the best class. Yeah. My EG does 3600 to assassins in CP2 and FA does 4000-4200 with magic boost though I only did 3200 to crab demon last night. I don't know what my mag is at but I have greendrake +7 and +11 INT on all armor and +15 INT accessories only gr 24 otherwise it would be higher. It tends to vary but no one ive player with uses res down. FA is an AoE and costs way more MP and time to cast, you can reel off more EG damage than FA damage in the long run. ------------------- Guild: Nekomimis FTW!
