	Log in to remove this sponsored message Just wondering. A good buddy of mine decided to make his own guild and he wanted to wait on recruiting people until he reached a certain level. I was just curious as to how far he can actually get. Also maybe even recruiting 4 or 5 people.

	you would probably need 15-20 active people to get the guild up to rank 10. i believe its 10000 points per ranking period to increase the guild level. 20 people could get a minimum of 1200 points per day and the ranking periods are 14 days long

	Points gained are accumulative so you can get to Lv.10 eventually. Me and my friend are in a two person guild and we're Lv.5. We've had it since the first day NA had it as well.

	Guild level requirements are as follows: Level 1-2: 2500 points 2-3: 5000 3-4: 10000 4-5: 15000 5-6: 30000 6-7: 50000 7-8: 75000 8-9: 90000 9-10: 120000 Each member gets 3 tokens a day for 14 days. If you have 5 members thats 210 tokens per ranking period. On average if you take 1 token to get 90 points (average, even though you can go from 60 to 300 depending on luck). Total points you can get on average if every token is used is 18,900 points. So upto Guild level 5 is easy to get to. After that it maaaaay depend on other things like activity per person kind of thing, as mentioned above even a 2 person guild can get to level 5 even though the requirement to do so seems to be out of reach for 2 ppl. But in general the points above is what you need.

But in general the points above is what you need. Level 5 is well out of reach for 2 people, which is why the accumulative theory intrigues me. With a 2 man guild the leader will be getting 4 tokens a day and the normal member 3. That adds up to an average of 5600+4200 - an average of 400/4 and 300/3 is a fair estimate as sometimes you get more sometimes you get less than 100 per token. Thats less than 10k, even with good outcomes for your tokens there's no way they could make up the 5k+ shortfall which is required to reach level 5. I'd also like to point out that my small guild has lots of inactive members. We missed out on the last ranking but we did hit level 7 this time, with only just over 30k banked, and last period we missed on we only had 27ish k banked. Now that could mean they lowered the rquirement to 30k OR more optimistic thinking (especially all for all those people who bought guild tickets only to disband due to lack of members) that points accumulate. I really hope this is true because the whole level 8 thing has left a sour taste in my mouth, i don't see why i should be penalised for sticking with a small band of friends instead of joining a mega guild. I've supported this game with my dlc purchases as much as the next man, it's not fair to keep that content from me. 	well if points accumulate then for the bigger guilds, they can all stop playing now and the guild will still get to 10. It was said that "depending on activity, guild can go up and down". So I dont know if its just accumulation, or rather level of activity per guild plus for those guilds that have enough people...making the required target points.

	More detail..? Me and my friend spent our tokens, sometimes I missed some days so we got less and well, we averaged something like 6.5k points every two weeks for the ranking. We didn't get to lv.6 this time but since we don't have to follow rules and surprise tests, I feel I'm much better off. And we don't bother doing our concierge quests since I got five virgos from Brave Littons Plight I from three coins non-concierge quest and got 300 points of all common gems from Artifex concierge from five coins. Mmmm... Gotta love that luck..!

Mmmm... Gotta love that luck..! The concierge quests do add a small percentage more to get rare geostones. For an individual player the extra few percent ins't worth that much.....but with a guild of 200+ members that small percentage can turn into alot of points.

Mmmm... Gotta love that luck..! there was 1 week 2 month ago when i get 2-3 pisces gems everyday in quests under GR19 which is only 0.3%,it's less then code.

	Guild point accumulation sounds interesting. Though if it's true, what's the point of mentioning that guilds can rank down? (Written somewhere in the Travelogue under the Guilds section I believe) Sounds impossible to rank down unless there's a limit to how long you can accumulate or you grab 0 points that ranking period (lol).

	I was under the impression that points do not accumulate, that at ranking all guilds are reset to zero whether they ranked up or not. ------------------- Currently playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and Guild Wars 2.

	With my guild, we failed to rank to lvl 4 once but got it on the next one. Also happened for lvl 5, we failed once, but got it at the next.
