Anyone +20'd trueking stuff yet? - Page 19

^^ yep tomorrow it is also 5 weeks for GER Dark Knights without Vessel of Truth. Gotta love the Geoforge randomness. Rare is fine but the TK item shouldn't have a similiar chance to appear like a Vellgander code lol.

Well, with 5 instruments of Truth, I can enhance the TK staff to + 10 already. Problem will be after + 10 because I need rare gems for 21 more Instuments of Truth AND 12x chromium gem level 9. :-(

When guilds reached Level 8, I had 19 of the one type of rare gems and 21 of the other. Now, five weeks later, I have 21 of the one type and 26 of the other one. So it is not really a huge process where I can say that if the TK item appears, I can proceed a lot more than I could have done with guild Level 8.

I only know that the staff is better at + 10 than Veda at + 20 and instead of the - 100 HP from Veda staff, it provides me with + 100 HP and an extra portion of SPR. That's reason enough to be slobbering all over it lol.

I guess, whenever the TK item appears, I will use ALL the rare gems I have and bind as many of the blue items as possible and then start collecting rare gems again waiting till Chromium gem Level 9 appears in Geoforge again.

But all of this is theory anyways. If they do not release new quests or raise the GR level to 40, in two months the Game will be abandonded anyways, TK weapons or not.

Look at it this way, you have additional time to gather the geostones you will need to get the vessels. Many guild members of guilds that already had the vessels had not saved sufficient geostones to get more than 2 or 3 vessels (if they even had enough for that many). Enough to make a weapon perhaps, but if they want the shield as well, they need 4 just to bind them and another 2 to enhance to +10. So, you have a chance to save your geostones for longer and obtain more vessels and therefore have the chance to enhance your TK gear further than some others.

A word to the wise, if you haven't seen the vessel's of truth yet, use the time to gather Pisces and Virgo geostones. These are the ones you will need for Vessels of Truth. hoard the suckers, do not spend them. When the random number generator finally does give your guild the vessels you will be ready for them.

I've decided to go back and max out my enhancements on all my lower level gear. I may even use that gear on more GR appropriate quests so as not to overpower other players. I've also wondered about doing that and starting new-game + for the heck of it. Although, the thought of missing out on the geostones and possible geoforge contents for a few days does concern me a bit.

Perhaps I'll rebirth and run newgame+ so I restart at the beginning at level 60... Either that or start a completely new character, let's face it with as much knowledge of the game as we have now, we ought to be able to breeze through the game with a new character...

I have heard that in the Avatar Story/Avatar Story quests it is possible to obtain 5 different Vessel items; Vessel of Truth, Vessel of Freedom, Vessel of Order, Vessel of Paradise, and Vessel of Vengeance. This information was told to me by a guild member however, so I don't believe it to be 100% true and don't advise anyone else to either. I had never even heard of Vessel of Vengeance until she mentioned it. I suppose it's worth looking into? If someone has the right sources to check?

This same member also suggested we'd probably be seeing more dlc/new content starting 2nd quarter of 2012, since the way the previous dlc came out was during 2011's 4th quarter (November - December) and the beginning of 1st quarter (January/Feb/March). We're in April now, so we're in 2nd quarter. I guess we shall see whether or not it's true, though it sounded reasonable to me.

To all of those who still don't have gotten Vessel of Truth in the forge: You are a lot more lucky than you think. Most of those who got the Vessels, were only able to make 5-7 of them, nowhere near enough to enhance TK to +20. When you guys finally get your Vessels in the forge, you should be able to make 10-15 of them. Play the game as normal, and when the Vessels come you're in for a treat. You'll surpass those who have gotten the Vessels only once.

I understand that you want to play with the newest toys, but TK weapons are not all that at +10.
