	I guess I'll check another of my videos later to confirm that, I'm almost sure I have a full DTL2 run recorded in december/january somewhere. I just unlocked a new video, It's Odr from Frass:FMQ, the bad Greaver paralysing everyone . We did it without knight because we didn't know who would be the bestfor that . We concluded each of us had a role to play, so we didn't use one .

	I uploaded 3 new videos, taken from the same run. Plain free monster quest : Lycaon, Vanagandr, Valk with 4 players (LS, Axe, Spear, mage) and not the overrated Guardian aura I'm uploading Roots of evil 2 too, it'll be up tomorrow.

	I just watched Lycaon fight very nice but i don't get what you have against guardian aura since your spear doesn't do much dmg anyway you could use aura and fight would go much smoother so mage could concetrate on dealing dmg,all i see is that whitout aura is more fun to play but not effectively.

	Well, if he Knighted, then someone would have had to support, and there would be only 2 DD. Good luck with that one. Doing it this way, your party is more free to attack. Also it's good practice for learning good strategies for your build/party vs just standing under the aura and spamming your attack. The other day I came across someone who adamantly believed that GA was an absolute necessity to completely FOD2. I wasn't sure If I should feel more sad about that or the fact that he was still wearing full Aragami.

Spear have an ability that reduce the attack, and I'm using it a lot in the fight. And I'm not using my strongest move all the time, I need to use MP4 potions every 10 sec0nds when I do that. You can watch the other fights, I stopped using Force field, so I do more damage. Guardian aura is not needed, so fight is actually easier without it than with it. You're wrong when you say the mage would be free to attack if someone's using it. Maybe you didn't notice, but the monster is moving at lot, the mage needs to use favor on the ones leaving the aura to hit it anyway. Without aura, we're free to move around and no one has to check the knight's MP every 2 seconds to avoid its reversal. Oh, and damage isn't everything, it's not my job do deal damage. I'm leaving that to Metsu and Kurumu, they can do that well.

	95% of the time, it's used when it's not needed. For multiple strong monsters without armors, it's not like we had the choice. I still won't recommend using it when you can do it another way.

You can say we used aura to reach Madoras alive, the real goal is to beat him without armor. He's stronger than in Apex, IIRC Metsu and Arietta did it with 4 players just before Abyss 2. The sword on Metsu's knight is the same I equipped on mine, Dinivas darkblade II. This weapon has been available for one week on the EU store, alongside two other blades, a shield (probably the one she equipped) and a spear.
