Speaking of DLCs, does anyone knows if the NA version will get the Data Link items from WKC Origins as DLC or something? I have beaten the game but NA doesn't have the option to Data Link.

Sadly we wont since WKC Origins was released on JAP PAL AUS and EU they unlock the chance to do so, hopefully they will release it at future DLC the only thing you are truly missing is the power rangers outfits when Georama equipment is better, but of course it would be nice to have the chance to get them

The problem with the sales here in the us is the same issue with monster hunter, which is the closest exp to this game I can think of right now. The us review sites don't get the game, they review it based more on the story mode than anything, they are lazy, and won't put the effort in to actually using all the great in game features, and then they give it a bad review because the story was lame.

Plus, they probable suck at it too. I just don't get it. The game has no bugs, is deeper than anything I have played outside monster hunter and demons soul, has more bang for your buck then all of the call of duty games combined, and they rip it apart.

I'll admit, I didn't stick with wk1 cause combat was so slow. I wish I would of, cause it wouldn't of mattered later on. But when I read about the revamped combat, I bought it without even reading about. And what I discovered was the beat thing I have played since monster hunter.

It's really quite a shame that more people won't get to enjoy this, Nd like someone said, as soon as dark souls comes out, and there is no new dlc added for us, everyone will prob duck out for it.

In defense of the reviewers they have to accomplish an agenda as we know WKC1-WKC2 takes like 600+ hours to get most of things or play it to the fullest and even so. I don t agree with the reviewers on the first one probably the more accurated of them was in gametrailers but thats why users reviews weight more sometimes, in the end good thing Youtube exist you can always watch walkthrough and other stuff of the game you might wonder before buying it if you aren t sure to pre-order it. You can t truly compare WKC with CoD they are so DIFFERENT!. I agree with you they might quit to another game once they get their things done, WKC1 didn t update much after the DLC quests hopefully it might change in this one but I doubt it.

I guess I should of added this in originally, but what I really should of mentioned is that they are reviewing a different game that what I am playing. They review it as a SP RPG, with online features. This game is neither single player nor, MP. Its a true hybrid, and should be reviewed as such. And since the game doesn't get much advertising(which is part of the problem), its even more important to review it properly. This is exactly why the JRPG is dying in the states, and we don't get games like xenoblade and the 2 other wii RPGs(so jealous of Europe right now)

I would use a review to at least see what a game was about. In none of them to they mention that the game is more monster hunter than final fantasy. Every review is, gawd, the game is hard. Why is there no tutorial when i choose to skip the first game......And man, just another run of the mill JRPG story. What person plays JRPGs for their awesome stories?? WE saw how well it worked out when someone tried to tell a good story(ff 13 I'm looking at you). They just have no context to what they are reviewing is my main issue, and it hurts the game.

I haven't even played but a few quests online yet, and I'm not even finished with the story. Hell i had 60 hours alone in WK1, because i did all the guild quests, bounties, and errands. I saw a few reviews say who wants to play an mmo by themselves, comparing the sp game to soloing in an mmo. I respond to that with.... ME!! And about 8+ million people playing warcraft obviously. I just happen to also like playing with friends when the mood strikes.

Speaking of updates, any word on when the patches are going to be released? If they're not going to be, then I won't have much fun with WKC2 IF I decide to buy it, because with how it's handled at the moment, I'm really on-the-fence about spending money on a copy of a game that keeps extra content from me, even though I paid full price for it.

Yes I´m totally with you that´s suppose to be the reason why PS3 is region free compared to other consoles, about the updates well...WKC2 is still "new" and I think they are waiting for America to catch up with EU and JAP to release updates and since not most people have a a lot of free time to play they might delay their release. By other hand, the updates are coming for sure, the real question should be: if they are releasing more updates after that. I hope it helps ^^

The problem with having to wait for people to "catch up", is that over that time others are going to get bored and leave! leaving only a hand full of dedicated followers, i myself will be switching to Battlefield 3 upon its release, as nothing is set in stone to make me want to stay with WCK.

I'm sure that they will release new stuff, but it will take some time. Until then, i will likely play other games. It's not like WKC 1/2 are the only games out there. I might finally get to play the current DLC of dragon age 2 or maybe fallout:NV, who knows?

Thats fair enough, However i work hard and have a family to support, so see little in the game purchacing account, as such when buying a game i usually trade in my old.
Sounds cheap but i believe in equality, the Japs have had for long enough, so obviously any bugs would have been sorted, so why cant they just simply upload the content and make available for all.
its not like they cant! just a point that they WONT!
