I'm pretty sure they're not necessary for the regular Ocarina of Time, but are they necessary for this game? I don't feel like going through the training grounds if I don't have to.

Yes, where the sign is and a lady standing next to a opening that is blocked by a gate thing. It's near the path you would take to get the the horse back archery place.

Save before entering, and have a walkthrough ready before doing the temple. if you mess something up and use a key on a wrong door in this dungeon and save, you will never get the ice arrow

That was true in the original OoT. In MQ, there is no way to mess up getting your Ice Arrows. There are three locks and three keys. However, it IS good practice to do it all at once (like Big Boss17 said) anyway.

i saw ice arrows are the hardest to get i tried and failed.i have like 15 hearts with the armor on them(secret fairy in near gannons castle i do believe its blocked by huge rocks
